Friends of mine are expecting their fourth child in a few days and they’re asking for help with a middle name. His first name will be [name]Corbin[/name]. Last name is LaCoste. Their other kid’s names are as follows.
I’m thinking two syllables would sound better, but it might not be that important, and it shouldn’t end with an “en”, “in”, or “on” sound. They are considering [name]Dallas[/name], but they’re not sure if they really want to give they’re kid a movie character name [The Fifth Element]. Opinions?
My opinion is that it SHOULDN’T contain two syllables – one or three would be much better. I know so many of you berries are geniuses at the middle name thing, so I’ll let you take it from here!
I agree with [name]Pam[/name], that one or three syllables would be best. I prefer a one syllable since their older children all have short and sweet middle names. Some ideas
Thanks so much for all the suggestions. I think repeating the hard “c” sound in the middle name [as in [name]Corbin[/name] [name]Quinn[/name], [name]Corbin[/name] [name]Kent[/name], or even [name]Corbin[/name] [name]Luke[/name] is a good idea. The “kuh” is strong in LaCoste too, and the repetition sounds good. [name]Atticus[/name] is a great name. I’m not sure how they’ll feel about it, but I love it.
