Corbin - what do the nameberryites think of it?

I recently came across this name again… It’s one I’ve loved for years, but had kinda forgotten about it. What do you all think of [name]Corbin[/name]? [name]Love[/name] it? Hate it? Think it’s too treny sounding? Please tell me what you think! I’m also open to middle name suggestions. Some middles I’ve thought of are [name]Dane[/name], [name]Jude[/name], Clarkson, [name]Daniel[/name]. All these middle names are family names. Our last name is two syllables.
Eagerly waiting for any input you may have!

I just think of [name]Corbin[/name] [name]Bleu[/name] from High School Musical. Other than that, it strikes me of a trendy surname, so I’m not a fan.

I like the name [name]Corbin[/name]! I babysat a little boy named [name]Corbin[/name] about 15 years ago, so I don’t view the name as trendy. I believe it has a biblical reference. It’s a nice choice in my opinion.

I named my son [name]Corbin[/name] 10 years ago and have never regreted it. I had never heard it before and actually got the idea from the movie “fifth Element”. I am now 30 weeks prego with our second boy and have no clue on a name yet. I only hope I find something that I love as much as [name]Corbin[/name]. Good luck.

I really like it, but I have a thing for crows and ravens. :o)

You may also like [name]Corwin[/name], [name]Corin[/name] (pron. CORE-in, not Core-IN like the girls name), and Corbeau.

Corbeau is french for raven (Core-[name]BO[/name])… I named my first car this ;o)

Thanks so much for the feedback everyone! Sounds like mostly positive comments - which I’m so glad to hear. I’ve really liked this name for several years, but unfortunately my husband isn’t crazy about it. It might grow on him, but for now we’ve both agreed that our first baby boy will most likely be named [name]Griffin[/name]. I was just currious to see what others thought of my old favorite… Thanks for sharing!

I pronounce it as distinct from [name]Corben[/name]. I expect many people don’t. So I wouldn’t use it myself, because I’d be bothered by people not saying it the way I wanted.
