I’m changing my name, and am playing around with [name]Cordelia[/name] combinations. I’d like to keep [name]Rose[/name] in there somewhere, but otherwise my “style” is somewhat Telegraph-ish.
First name: [name]Cordelia[/name]
[name]Non[/name]-negotiable first middle: [name]Rose[/name], considering [name]Primrose[/name] because last name is one syllable
I feel as if these are a bit boring and too colonial, though! Two combinations that I adore in every way are [name]Ophelia[/name] [name]Beatrix[/name] [name]Plum[/name] and [name]Henrietta[/name] [name]Alice[/name] [name]Clementine[/name]. Obviously the quirky bit is the fruit, but I’m not keen on having a flower and a fruit name together. Or a plant, either, otherwise I’d use [name]Daphne[/name] or [name]Flora[/name]. I love [name]Hermione[/name] because of HP, but [name]Cordelia[/name] and [name]Hermione[/name] together is too glaringly [name]Shakespeare[/name] for me. So I need your help, please!
I don’t know if you’d consider moving Rose to the second middle name position because I just love [name]Cordelia[/name] [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Rose[/name].
Well, it really depends on the other middle. [name]Cordelia[/name] [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Rose[/name] is nice, actually, but [name]Rose[/name] plus my last name has always sounded stuttery to me.
Still looking for other middle name suggestions, similar to [name]Ophelia[/name] [name]Beatrix[/name] [name]Plum[/name] and [name]Henrietta[/name] [name]Alice[/name] [name]Clementine[/name]! Proper, yet whimsical.
