I used to dislike this name but I think that I am warming up to it. I pronounce her as “kor-DEH-lya”.
What do you think?

[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] is strong, pretty and literary with a great meaning - the ‘Del’ pronunciation is interesting - I like it - it gives it a slightly warmer vibe
I suppose that in [name_f]English[/name_f] speaking countries it is kor-DEE-lee-ah, but in my country it would be kor-DEH-lya
Like [name_f]Ofelia[/name_f] / [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] (oh-FEE-lee-ah VS oh-FEH-lya)
i LOVE cordelia especially nn cora!! however i say it “core-deal-ee-uh”
yeah, the dee-lee-ah pn would be the most common here!
Out of interest, would the same apply to Cornelia where you are?
Yes, elia endings are always EH-lya
thanks! I think I actually prefer that pn in this case!
I love [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]. I dont mind Englush pronunciation, but love yours prn. That said, i would use [name_f]English[/name_f] one, simply because its using [name_f]English[/name_f] spelling and people might be thinking Im using wrong pronunciation.
I also love [name_f]Cornelia[/name_f], mostly because of [name_f]Nelia[/name_f] part.
I like [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] because of its association with [name_u]Anne[/name_u] of [name_u]Green[/name_u] Gables. It’s a very pretty name.
I would only ever pronounce it with a long “e” in the middle, but I like the sound of it with the short “eh” sound.
