Cordelle

I’ve been researching [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] recently and I just stumbled across [name_u]Cordelle[/name_u]!

What are your thoughts on [name_u]Cordelle[/name_u]?

I like it, I know of one (friend of my mum’s, not sure on age but probably about 40?). It feels very sophisticated and classy to me. I think I prefer [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] though.

I can’t think of using [name_u]Cordelle[/name_u] on a girl. I can only think of US tv show “[name_u]Walker[/name_u], [name_u]Texas[/name_u] [name_u]Ranger[/name_u]” lead character [name_m]Cordell[/name_m] [name_u]Walker[/name_u], played by [name_m]Chuck[/name_m] [name_u]Norris[/name_u].

I really dislike it. I know a guy named [name_m]Cordell[/name_m], and it feels a bit brusque and… pushy… to me. If you want an alternative to [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f], what about the french [name_f]Cordelie[/name_f]?

It’s nice enough, but I think [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] is prettier. [name_u]Cordelle[/name_u] feels more masculine.

I only know guys named this. I don’t like it for girls.

I want to like [name_u]Cordelle[/name_u], but I know a couple guys called [name_m]Cordell[/name_m]/Kordell, so [name_u]Cordelle[/name_u] doesn’t sound very girly to me. It is interesting but I would say I preferred [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f], just for the equal opportunity of both [name_f]Cora[/name_f] AND [name_f]Delia[/name_f].

I think [name_u]Cordelle[/name_u] is lovely. I like the name [name_f]Delia[/name_f], but [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] is not my favorite.

I don’t know… It sounds a little weird to me. Although I really love [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] and also like [name_f]Cordelie[/name_f]!

I like [name_u]Cordelle[/name_u]. Pretty and classy, but it feels more down to earth than [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]. It definitely sounds feminine to me
