Someone who knows I love names told me that he found the name [name]Corilla[/name] in his family tree and I think it’s quite pretty. Has anyone ever heard of it? Anyone know its history or anything about it?
I have never heard of it, though I have heard of the similar [name]Marilla[/name], Barilla, and [name]Cilla[/name]. [name]Corilla[/name], unfortunately, is awfully similar to “gorilla,” something you may want to keep in mind.
alzora, I noticed the “gorilla” thing myself too. I’m not planning on using this though, of course (way too young to have kids). Thanks for replying!
I love some -illa names like [name]Willa[/name] and [name]Camilla[/name], and I love [name]Cora[/name], [name]Coralie[/name], and [name]Cordelia[/name], but I agree the [name]Corilla[/name]-Gorilla thing makes [name]Corilla[/name] unusable. It is intriguing, though.
[name]Corilla[/name] has a nice sound, but all I see is Gorilla, unfortunately. I love [name]Marilla[/name] though.
reminds be of Cruella De Vil even though I know they are different names.
I wasn’t wearing my glasses and thought it said Gorilla. Perhaps [name]Corella[/name]?
[name]Emilia[/name]
Reminds me of Corelle the dinnerware.
My first thought was Magilla Gorilla
I’ve never heard it. I automatically thought it could get confused as Gorilla, though. Then someone else mentioned Cruella De Ville. [name]Both[/name] of those would make me not want to use it!
