These are all gorgeous names! I voted [name]Camille[/name]. It is one of my favorites! You can’t go wrong either way.

[name]Elizabeth[/name] is a superb name–love the many nn options. [name]Eliza[/name]'s my favorite. I haven’t met little-bitty Elizabeths for a few years, so I don’t find it boring.

I’ve only ever seen [name]Corinne[/name] with one R / two Ns and heard it as [name]Cor[/name]-[name]RIN[/name]. (Never heard [name]Cor[/name]-EEN.) I love it–classic, a little unexpected in my neighborhood, very feminine. It got my vote.

I like [name]Audrey[/name] and [name]Camille[/name] as well.

[name]Even[/name] though I love [name]Camille[/name], [name]Audrey[/name], and [name]Elizabeth[/name], it sounds like your biggest concern is popularity, in which case [name]Corrine[/name] looks like the best option. However, I agree that [name]Corrine[/name] isn’t my favorite, even though I love the nn [name]Cora[/name].

What do you think of these names that could also have the nn [name]Cora[/name]?
[name]Coral[/name]
[name]Coralie[/name]
[name]Coraline[/name]
[name]Cordelia[/name]
[name]Cornelia[/name]

If you do end up using [name]Corrine[/name], I just wanted to make sure you know that the spelling [name]Corinne[/name] is the more authentic one, if that’s something you care about.

[name]Elizabeth[/name] - I voted for she  Never boring! So many fab nickname choices and it’ll never be dated. Can’t go wrong with a little [name]Lizzie[/name]. Or [name]Libby[/name]. Or [name]Liz[/name], [name]Liza[/name], [name]Beth[/name], Zabby, [name]Izzy[/name], [name]Eli[/name], [name]Ellie[/name]…
[name]Camille[/name] - I like very much. Not whiney at all, very pretty and I do like the nn [name]Cam[/name]!
[name]Audrey[/name] - Meh. It seems like such a drab, background kind of name. Nothing lively about it. Perhaps I feel this way becuase it’s still dated on this side of the pond. Or perhaps because the ‘aud’ sound is quite blunt and dull to my ears.
[name]Corinne[/name] - This would be #1 if pronounced with the -een ending. I never knew it was pronounced differently until the other day! I used to really like the name but the [name]COR[/name]-in pronunciation makes me think of ‘coffin’ now

They’re all essentially good names. Good luck with whichever you choose

I voted [name]Elizabeth[/name], but [name]Audrey[/name] is not far behind. [name]Elizabeth[/name] is popular, but it is a beautiful classic, and as you said, has so many fantastic nickname options! Plus, and I know I’m not the first one to say this, “popular” names now aren’t all that popular.

I wouldn’t worry about [name]Audrey[/name] v. [name]Aubrey[/name]- while [name]Aubrey[/name] is trendy now, [name]Audrey[/name] has been a well-known name for a long time.

[name]IMO[/name], [name]Don[/name]'t do [name]Corinne[/name] just to call her [name]Cora[/name]. They are two different names.

[name]Camille[/name] is just nms, I agree that the meel ending isn’t very pretty.

Good luck!

[name]Elizabeth[/name] is my favorite, followed by [name]Audrey[/name] and [name]Camille[/name]. Good luck!

[name]Elizabeth[/name] is definitely my favorite! It may be popular but it is such a wonderful classic name with adorbale nn options. [name]Elsie[/name], [name]Libby[/name], Bitsy, [name]Ellie[/name], [name]Beth[/name], & [name]Lizzy[/name] are just a few of my favs.

  1. [name]Elizabeth[/name]
  2. [name]Corinne[/name]
  3. [name]Audrey[/name]
  4. [name]Camille[/name]

I have always loved [name]Corinne[/name] (IN not EEN), and it would be a lot higher on my list if it didn’t sound dreadful with my last name. If you and your husband like-but-not-love it, how about [name]Corin[/name]? Pronounced [name]COR[/name]-in.

[name]Camille[/name] is sweet, doesn’t sound like you love it though? Maybe you should try to find other ways to get to [name]Mila[/name]?
I love [name]Audrey[/name], but hate [name]Aubrey[/name]. I would never get the two confused. [name]Audrey[/name] could also be called [name]Audie[/name].
I would go with [name]Elizabeth[/name] if there is one specific nickname that you also love and plan to use. (My favorites are [name]Libby[/name] and [name]Eliza[/name].) Otherwise, even though it is a beautiful classic, it does feel a bit uninspired, imo.
[name]Corinne[/name] is very nice, but I agree with a pp that [name]Cora[/name] is a different name. I would use [name]Coralie[/name] or [name]Coraline[/name] nn [name]Cora[/name], or else [name]Cora[/name] plus a middle name that could produce a nickname, like [name]Cora[/name] [name]Lucille[/name] --> [name]Cora[/name] [name]Lou[/name] or [name]Cora[/name] [name]Bellamy[/name] --> [name]Corabelle[/name], or something less cheesy!

Such helpful feedback! It is really helping to get an outside perspective.
