Cornelia Alexandria

I’m just spitballing, nothing serious. What are your thoughts on this combo?

[name_f]Cornelia[/name_f] reminds me of corn or corn rolls even though it has cute nicknames, and I prefer [name_u]Alex[/name_u] or [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] over [name_f]Alexandria[/name_f]. It’s just too much going on.

Without proper reference I guess the first thing that will pop in anyone’s mind about [name_f]Cornelia[/name_f] is the fact that it starts with Corn. :stuck_out_tongue: I also love [name_m]Alexander[/name_m], but I only love it on boys (Not a big fan of using masculine names on girls). As for the mouthful, I’m pretty sure it’s because both names end with -ia.

Thank you so much for you input! <3

It is a mouthful haha. Maybe [name_f]Alexa[/name_f]?

I love [name_f]Cornelia[/name_f]!! But I do agree with [name_f]Alexandria[/name_f] it’s a bit of a mouthful.

I don’t like them both ending in the ‘-ia’ sound. It’s too much. [name_f]Cornelia[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] is better, [name_f]IMO[/name_f].

its a bit much, [name_f]Cornelia[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] would work better or [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]

I like [name_f]Cornelia[/name_f]. The “corn” thing doesn’t bother me. I agree with the PPs that [name_f]Cornelia[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandria[/name_f] is a mouthful and that [name_f]Cornelia[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] would have better flow.

I like both names - but not together. I just don’t like the a ending of first going to an a starting middle name - it means one’s mouth is gaping! I’d go for [name_f]Cornelia[/name_f] [name_f]Temperance[/name_f] or something like that.
