[name_m]Hi[/name_m] Berries! Recently came across this name and after hearing it aloud, I realized I’d heard the name several times over the years but had never seen it actually spelled out before. Before I assumed it was spelled something along the lines of “Kurin” or maybe “Kiryn”.

Now I’m wondering, for those of you with this name – or people you may know with this name even – have you/they had issues with folks misprouncing it? Are there alternate spellings (I’m kinda liking the “Kiryn” idea not gonna lie) [name_f][/name_f]? Also how do you like your name? [name_f]Love[/name_f] it? Hate it? Neutral? Also are there different pronouciations? I always hear it as “ker-RIN”.
[name_f][/name_f]
I really like it as a possibility for a future daughter but couldn’t really find many posts about it, so I’d love some feedback! Thanks in advance!
[name_f]Love[/name_f] [name_f]Corinne[/name_f] and [name_f]Corinna[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]. Great sound. 🩵
I love this name! [name_f]Corinne[/name_f] is my preferred spelling, though I’ve also seen it spelled [name_f]Corryn[/name_f] in person.

I’ve never seen anyone have pronunciation issues, but that may depend on spelling and area!
I like it spelt [name_f]Corinne[/name_f]! It’s a beautiful name that opens up to many nicknaming possibilities such as [name_f]Cora[/name_f] or [name_f]Nina[/name_f]. [name_f]My[/name_f] primary association would be a [name_f]Barbie[/name_f] I had with the name.
I’ve most often seen it spelled as [name_f]Corinne[/name_f], but I can imagine whether it’s spelled [name_f]Corrine[/name_f] and [name_f]Corinne[/name_f], it could be misspelled.
[name_f][/name_f]
I think kuh-rin, kuh-reen and kaw-reen (French) are all possible pronunciations but kuh-rin is the one that I’ve heard most often.
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_f]Corryn[/name_f], [name_f]Corynn[/name_f], Korynn, Korrine could be other spellings. Kiryn is cute but it feels like a different name to [name_f]Corinne[/name_f]?

[name_f]Corinne[/name_f] is very pretty! [name_f][/name_f] I knew one [name_f]Corinne[/name_f] years ago and I don’t remember her having any issues with it. [name_f][/name_f] I say it kuh-RIN too. [name_f][/name_f] I’ve also seen people named [name_f]Karin[/name_f] or [name_f]Karyn[/name_f] with the same pronunciation, but I’ve also known of people with those spellings that say it like [name_f]Karen[/name_f], so [name_f]Corinne[/name_f] seems the best bet to me. [name_f][/name_f] [name_f]Karin[/name_f] is pretty though.

for this particular spelling (Corrine), id be more likely to say it cor-REEN, but [name_f]Corinne[/name_f] would get the pronunciation you want.

Kiryn would get KEER-in from me.

it’s not my style but there’s nothing wrong with the name. it does feel dated to me. ive only known 1 girl with the name (she’s disabled and nonverbal so I have no idea what her experience with the name is)[name_f][/name_f].
I know two gals with this name and one pronounces it Cor-Reen and one pronounces it Cor-Rinn (emphasis on the second syllable).
