Cosanta

[name]Hi[/name] berries, WDYT About the name Cosanta?

I was looking for a name that means protection, and came across this Irish word. Could it pass for a name?

I knew a little girl a few years ago called Cosina, though I’m not sure of the spelling she went by “coy” which was cute.

It sounds like a name to me, and a pretty one at that. Unless the pronunciation is not phonetic, it seems like it translates well. So, fwiw I like it.

I think it’s beautiful! It looks Spanish to me; interesting that it’s Irish. I like.

I like [name]Cosima[/name] as well! I’m not sure how Cosanta is pronounced, I prefer co-SAHN-tah, but I believe it’s CO-sun-tuh (uh being the schwa-sound). Does anyone know?

Iprn. it co-san-ta but I’m not positive that is correct. It is a pretty name in theory, but as soon as I saw the name I instantly thought of CoSanta [name]Claus[/name] or [name]George[/name] Costanza from Seinfeld.

Lol, that’s what I read it as. Like [name]Santa[/name]'s got a helper or something. I think it’s a nice enough name, but I can’t unsee that now.
