I recently rediscovered the name [name]Cosette[/name]. I think its beautiful, your opinions? And MN suggestions? Also NNs please?
Personally I don’t like it, [name]Cosette[/name] is a weak, frail, pitiful character from [name]Les[/name] Misérables but in the states it’s pretty usable.
Edit: I promised NB (or maybe myself?) I would let up a little and spare people on the Cosette argument but there are some old Cosette threads you could look for that have some good opinions that go both ways on the name.
I know a girl named [name]Cosette[/name] who is 3. Her family calls her Cozy. I thought it was weird at first, but she is so cute, you can’t help but love the name because of her.
I too have a hard time with [name]Cosette[/name] because of the [name]Les[/name] Mis character association.
Nns: Cosy, [name]Ettie[/name], Setta (I do love the name Setta)
I really like [name]Colette[/name] if that appeals to you at all.
I second this, [name]Colette[/name] is similar, has some good nn choices, and comes with a lot less baggage.
I don’t mind [name]Cosette[/name], I think it would make a great middle name.
I prefer [name]Colette[/name] and a bunch of other ette names.
hmmm I do like [name]Colette[/name]. I think the NN Cosy is kinda cute though.
I love [name]Cosette[/name]! It’s funny, I actually like the [name]Les[/name] Miz association. 
That’s the reason I would use the name. I think [name]Cosette[/name]'s character is very endearing and her relationship with Valjean is so sweet! I also love how she is sometimes called the little lark.
I have always liked [name]Cosette[/name] and [name]Colette[/name]. I would think that either would make a pretty middle name.
I always hear Cassette. It’s much better with an O, that’s for sure. And the nickname Cozy is kind of neat, too. But I prefer a lot of other -ette names, personally. I think it’s an okay choice, use it if you like it. It’s not awful, I just don’t care for it.
I’ve yet to read [name]Le[/name] Miserables, so [name]Cosette[/name] doesn’t have that much of an image/association connected to it. I actually know a teenage [name]Cosette[/name], and I really like it (she also works in a library!) I think Cozy is an adorable nickname, thogh [name]Etta[/name] or [name]Etty[/name] would be cute too. A more traditional or common middle name would go well with the unusual [name]Cosette[/name], but not something over done. [name]Cosette[/name] [name]Mae[/name], [name]Cosette[/name] [name]Adeline[/name], or [name]Cosette[/name] [name]Rosalie[/name] would be pretty!
