Someone threw me for a loop today when suggesting that [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] could be used as nickname for the name [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f], I had only heard of it as nickname for the more formal [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f].
What do you think about this?

I’m pretty picky about far fetched nicknames, but I think this one actually works!
I think it could work. Nicknames are informal and I don’t feel they always have to be used in their traditional way. [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] [name_m]Obama[/name_m] is really a [name_f]Natasha[/name_f], for example.
