Could the name Rosette honor a Rose and a Betty?

My husbands grandmother(who passed away) is [name]Betty[/name] [name]Lou[/name] and I have a grandma named [name]Betty[/name] [name]Lou[/name] and one named [name]Rose[/name] [name]Luella[/name]. I’ve tried to come up with different names to honor the three grandmas but none I’ve really liked. I like the name [name]Rose[/name] a lot by itself but my husband and I would love to honor his grandma [name]Betty[/name] [name]Lou[/name]. He was really close to her, I never knew her. SO does [name]Rosette[/name] work? (Not [name]Ros[/name]-etti/ ettie pronunciation, just the “ett”. )

I don’t like [name]Rosette[/name] - it just makes me think of the little Rosettes that we had to wear in school for choir performances.

What about [name]Rose[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]? Or [name]Rose[/name] [name]Louisa[/name]? Or some comination containing those names.

[name]Louisa[/name] is a great suggestion – really honors all three! Such a pretty name. The nickname [name]Rosie[/name] [name]Lou[/name] would be cute.

I actually really like [name]Rosette[/name], and I definitely think it’s usable! Honestly though, I do think it would be a much better mn choice than a first name. Maybe pick a different fn you love, then put [name]Rosette[/name] in the middle. I think middles with emphasis on the 2nd syllable are golden, so this is an excellent choice in my opinion!

Any other names you like that might go nicely with [name]Rosette[/name]?

I have [name]Rosette[/name] paired with [name]Cassia[/name] [name]Jayne[/name]. [name]Rosette[/name] would be a second middle name. So [name]Cassia[/name] [name]Jayne[/name] [name]Rosette[/name] ? I think [name]Rosette[/name] would be a more direct way to honor [name]Rose[/name] and [name]Betty[/name] vs. [name]Rose[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] or [name]Rose[/name] [name]Louisa[/name] although, those do sound really pretty. We usually use an honor name for a second middle name.

[name]Cassie[/name] [name]Jayne[/name] [name]Rosette[/name] is beautiful! [name]Rosette[/name] flows very nicely as a 2nd mn, and the fact that it’s meaningful to both of you is very special!

I think it works, and I don’t mind [name]Rosette[/name] either, although I think I prefer [name]Rosetta[/name]. But [name]Rosette[/name] better fits your circumstances.
