Thoughts on [name_f]Covey[/name_f]? How would you pronounce? Cuv-ee or Coe-vee
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Brother[/name_m] to [name_m]Evren[/name_m], neutral name but prefer on a boy but would use on a girl as well

I’d say coe-vee! I think it’s cute, but I like [name_m]Cove[/name_m] with [name_f]Covey[/name_f] as a nickname more.
I really want to like it because [name_m]Cove[/name_m] is one of my favorites, but for some reason it reminds me of covid[name_f][/name_f] even more than [name_m]Cove[/name_m] does? I think because I spent some of the pandemic in [name_m]France[/name_m] where it’s pronounced “co-VEED” (and I would pronounce [name_f]Covey[/name_f] like CO-vee).
[name_f][/name_f]I think I like [name_m]Cove[/name_m] “Covey” more. it would go very nicely with [name_m]Evren[/name_m] as either a brother or sister!
Like a covey of quail? [name_f][/name_f] That’s what I think of, pronounced cuh-vee. [name_f][/name_f] I never heard of Cove-y as a name before.
[name_f]My[/name_f] instinct is cuh-vee, because I’ve only encountered the name in the Hunger Games universe, where it’s pronounced this way and refers to a musical nomadic family.
[name_f][/name_f]I do like it, and I think it’s sweet with [name_m]Evren[/name_m], but I agree with previous posters that [name_m]Cove[/name_m] might be a better match. It has the same sleek and cool feeling to me.
I think it is sweet, I would pronounce it instinctual as Cuh-vee
COE-vee is how I’d say it (coe to rhyme with toe or Jo).
[name_f][/name_f]It has a cool sound [name_f][/name_f]- distinctive, sunny and cosy at the same time [name_f][/name_f]- though like tallemaja and sparkleninja, I do prever [name_m]Cove[/name_m] ‘Covey’ slightly [name_f][/name_f]- feels more versatile?
