Crazy name--like or dislike?

So. I like the name [name_f]Breeze[/name_f]. I mean, it’s not the weirdest on my list…WDYT?

I actually know a man in his late fifties named [name_f]Breeze[/name_f]. Most people when they meet him say “huh? [name_f]Bree[/name_f]? Brees?” but it works for him – though I’ve never asked him if he likes his name. He’s a little eccentric and makes awesome wood furniture. I still find it weird that that’s his name.

It’s NMS. I don’t think it sounds very nice as a name and dislike those random word names that are bound to come up in casual conversation a bit, though am not against word names in general. Like “Oh, what a nice breeze” and then the girl [name_f]Breeze[/name_f] perking up because she heard her name.

That said the only “bree” name I like is [name_f]Brielle[/name_f]. I don’t like the [name_f]Bree[/name_f] sound in general.

Its not awful, but I wouldnt say I like it. Its not really any different from using [name_u]Storm[/name_u], [name_u]Winter[/name_u] or [name_u]River[/name_u] etc
Its less romantic than those for some reason.
Now [name_f]Bree[/name_f] I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u].

I like Brees (not a [name_u]Drew[/name_u] Brees fan) and I actually met someone with the surname Breese. I think Brees/Breese/[name_f]Breeze[/name_f] would make a nice fn

I actually kind of like it. I’ve heard it used as a name before so I don’t think it’s that weird

oceane is a better option

Not a fan personally. Reminds me of the name of an air freshener or laundry soap ("[name_f]Morning[/name_f] [name_f]Breeze[/name_f]" or “[name_f]Lavender[/name_f] [name_f]Breeze[/name_f]” etc.)

Have you read the story about the ten paper doll sisters who get caught in the wind and one of the people who finds them is a girl named [name_f]Breeze[/name_f]? I just remembered that book from my childhood when reading this thread. I think [name_f]Breeze[/name_f] has mostly good connotations (like summer breeze) and would be really cute on a kid.
