Lestat (Leh-staht)
Crazy seductive vampire and main character in [name]Anne[/name] [name]Rice[/name]'s Vampire Chronicles, Lestat is a vampire with no boundries. Thought to be a ancient French name, Lestat is a French noble whos had many lovers…mostly men.
I love [name]Anne[/name] [name]Rice[/name]! Or at least her older stuff. I’ve read that she got the name Lestat from a typo. The original name she’d used was Lestan, after her husband [name]Stan[/name] [name]Rice[/name], and after noticing a typo Lestat, she realized it was a much better name, and sounded kind of like it might be french for estate.
I heard about that! Lestat is so much better. I knew of a little boy actually named Lestat.
Also his sister’s name was Valkyrie
