[name_f]Bridget[/name_f] [name_f]Daffodil[/name_f] “Birdie” [name_m]Greene[/name_m] (5) is Levity’s daughter and Lila’s best friend. [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] is deaf and communicates using ASL but Birdies disability doesn’t stop her from having fun. She loves making up games with [name_f]Lila[/name_f] and running around the neighborhood with her. [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] is very outgoing but often finds that not many children her age know ASL which often makes her unhappy, often [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] will go to her uncles house to play with his kids who can sign to her. Birdies cousins go to public schools which sometimes makes [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] a little bit jealous since the public schools in her area aren’t ready to accommodate her needs and most schools for the hard of hearing are far away and boarding which [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] isn’t ready for, so [name_f]Levity[/name_f] homeschools [name_f]Birdie[/name_f]. Currently they are working on learning the Cyrillic Alphabet and on storytelling. [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] is very invested in her studies and likes learning about animals. [name_f]Levity[/name_f] is in the process of getting [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] a service dog to help her day to day and make her more independent.
[name_f]Birdie[/name_f] is super excited for her mom and her other mom to get married. She is going to be the junior maid of honor and wear a beautiful light green dressed she picked out with matching flowers to her moms’ bouquets. However [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] is less excited for their honeymoon as she’ll have to stay with her uncle and cousins for two weeks and a half and miss out on her moms fun. [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] hopes her cousins will bring her on their adventures through the woods behind the house. Her uncle showed her a treehouse with a tire swing last time she visited!
