TWO WEEKS LATER
[name_u]Riley[/name_u] ’ [name_m]Riles[/name_m] ’ [name_m]Bates[/name_m] Hillenburg (4) is someone who looks up to [name_f]Margo[/name_f] a lot, since he’s her younger cousin. He is one of [name_u]Lee[/name_u] Hillenburg’s grandchildren, which gives some irony considering [name_u]Lee[/name_u] herself had a past divorce due to a cheating husband. [name_m]Riles[/name_m] is obsessed with discovery himself and insists he wants to be a park ranger when he grows up, but also has dreams of being a sailor too. He loves his grandmother [name_u]Lee[/name_u] since she’s a much more positive side of the family tree and he’s semi-aware of a family secret, although much more positive - it’s about [name_u]Lee[/name_u] set up to have a date with her co-worker at the party. [name_m]Riles[/name_m] is more and more aware of this love connection and cutely supports it.
However the party hasn’t happened yet, as there’s still some time to go. Maybe that’s for the best, since Walter’s stepbrother has stated he isn’t attending and has estranged himself. Some of the people aware of the brewing drama know that there was an affair between Walter’s stepbrother and with [name_f]Levia[/name_f]. Some more than others but it has weighed on a few people. [name_u]Luxor[/name_u] genuinely loves the [name_u]Perry[/name_u] family but doesn’t speak to [name_f]Levia[/name_f] anymore. She feels like she wasted herself caring about [name_f]Levia[/name_f] like she had a true problem and now sees her as a traitor. [name_u]Luxor[/name_u] is still kind to [name_f]Margo[/name_f] and her siblings and tries her very best to not act so different around them despite seeing things differently.
As for [name_f]Levia[/name_f] and [name_u]Walter[/name_u], they’re going to couple’s therapy. [name_f]Margo[/name_f] and her siblings will stay with Riles’ parents and spend time with them and Riles’ sib. [name_m]Riles[/name_m] is joyful over the moon but [name_f]Margo[/name_f] is concerned about her parents. [name_m]Riles[/name_m] wants to cheer her up but his parents tell him not to make promises - he doesn’t know why [name_f]Margo[/name_f] is so worried about her parents. While [name_f]Levia[/name_f] doesn’t truly love Walter’s stepbrother, she really needs to own up once and for all about the extent of her cheating. In a small stroke of fortune, it turns out [name_f]Levia[/name_f] isn’t pregnant. She’s notified that this was a false alarm due to stress and that both a doctor and a pregnancy test has confirmed that there is not a baby-to-be. Still, this doesn’t make Levia’s situation okay and there’s some belief that the two will separate. But will love rekindle or is it better to just be done and divorced? [name_u]Lee[/name_u] herself has stayed out for the sake of keeping a civil family but she wants Levia’s actions to have consequences.
