She often hides this aspect of her life from others due to the stigma and judgement as people assume that those who work in the sex work industry are devious and immoral. As far as a young [name_u]Boris[/name_u] was concerned he hung the moon and she wanted to become just as talented as him. This lead to her becoming a jack of all trades, but still largely a master of none. She’s moderately good at a lot of things but is not an expert at anything, something she sort of dislikes about herself since she worries about how her lack of commitment comes off to others. Something that has also bled through into her dating live, she’s unable to stay with a partner long before getting cold feet and running away. Although her upbringing is different from that of the other children in her family. She’s technically a half-sister to them, though she hardly knows any different since her next sibling came along when she was barely a year old.
Her mother had become pregnant with her after a one night stand only to fall into a relationship on a blind date set up by a friend a few months later. Magdalena Rosario Uribe (27). Mags is an ER resident nurse. She’s named after her mom’s home town, both of her parents are first gen immigrants from Colombia. She comes from a medical background, both of her parents are nurses, so it was just second nature when it came to picking a major.
After a tragic car crash in her second year of college that killed one of her friends and nearly took her life, she gained huge respect for first responders, so she swore to dedicate her life to helping others in their most desperate times and became an ER nurse.
She currently lives a rather quiet life, trying to juggle her residency with her social life, she’s single and isn’t looking for any romance right now, but she’s not lonley, even when she’s busy she loves spending time with her friends, she values them greatly. And even when she’s does feel alone after a long day of work, her cat Arepa is always waiting for her at home.
[name_f]Aleksandra[/name_f] [name_f]Helene[/name_f] Nowak [27] is a friend of [name_f]Mags[/name_f] as they were roommates for the majority of their educations, starting in the dorms as freshman and then moving into their own off campus apartment in their junior years. They were randomly paired together by the roommate system but luckily hit it off right away as they’re both children of immigrants (Mags’ from [name_f]Colombia[/name_f] and Aleksandra’s from Poland), both have strong morals that they adhere to, and both love animals. That last one really being a subject worth bonding over as [name_f]Aleksandra[/name_f] is a full-time guide dog user and has been since she was 16.
Aleksandra’s mother went into premature labor with [name_f]Aleksandra[/name_f], resulting in her being born with retinopathy of prematurity or ROP which is an eye disease that can occur in babies born before 31 weeks where unwanted blood vessels grow over the effected baby’s retina and interfere with their vision. Some babies grow out of it, but some, like [name_f]Aleksandra[/name_f], don’t and instead become blind. Over the course of her childhood she progressively lost vision and started using a cane at 13, though she always wanted a guide dog. So put in tons of work into making sure she had her orientation and mobility skills down pat as that’s an essential step before getting a guide dog, and for her 16th birthday her parent’s surprised her by showing her that they had signed her up for a guide dog program in their area.
This is were she met her first guide dog [name_u]Cleo[/name_u], whom she used up until shortly after she and [name_f]Mags[/name_f] graduated as the dog, a yellow lab, was beginning to slow down with age. It was hard to say goodbye to seeing her everyday but thankfully it wasn’t a permeant goodbye. Mr. and Mrs. Nowak now take care of her and [name_f]Aleksandra[/name_f] and her new guide dog, [name_f]Valentina[/name_f], visit every Thanksgiving and [name_u]Christmas[/name_u]. The two dogs get along much like sisters. Much to Aleksandra’s delight.
Though she has a degree in social work and is often fairly busy with her job in that field. Lately she’s been busy with a whole new aspect of her life, wedding planning. [name_u]Viridian[/name_u] is an actor and dancer, they’re very talented and have been in some shows though no movies yet unfortunately, however they aspire to reach that level of skill and talent. Unlike Aleksandra’s parents, Viridian’s weren’t very supportive of them at all- not of their career, not of their transition to they/them pronouns, , and not even of their decision to dye their hair green. Something [name_u]Percy[/name_u] has continued to do since she loves to change up her hair all the time, she’s currently beginning to tire of the black and is planning to shave it all off and start over.
Unfortunately she doesn’t get to see [name_u]Viridian[/name_u] as much as they used to, [name_u]Percy[/name_u] and her ex-girlfriend at the time used to double date with [name_u]Viridian[/name_u] and [name_f]Aleksandra[/name_f], after she moved across the country for her job. Of course they’ll be coming back for the wedding and is very excited to help plan a bachelor party for both [name_u]Viridian[/name_u] and [name_f]Aleksandra[/name_f].
In their free time outside of work she can be found tending to her several aquariums that she keeps in her apartment. We’re not compatible and can’t be siblings.” [name_f]Marybeth[/name_f] sarcastically responded, “Oops, I deleted some unimportant phone numbers, who is this?” Author’s note: This is actually a real text conversation that my [name_u]Leo[/name_u] sister sent me and my sarcastic [name_m]Taurus[/name_m] self responded just like that! He really tried it and it bit back against him. In actuality, he’s used to being the one who gets on people’s nerves - he’s the rebel and tradition was never his thing. If tradition wasn’t a thing, he’d get by with way more but he doesn’t care because that’s the way he breaks “rules”. He’s a fan of Percy’s constant hair changes and Viridian’s green hair and he’s planning to let [name_u]Percy[/name_u] give him a cool new hairstyle. He’s so risky that he doesn’t want to see it being done and he’ll trust her doing whatever she wants to his hair. Whatever she wants! He ensures he will like it no matter what and even if he secretly doesn’t, he’ll always make a way to rock the new hairstyle anyway. The worst hairstyle for him is no new change - he finds it boring to leave his hair as is. He also wants to attend [name_f]Aleksandra[/name_f] and Viridian’s wedding and he’s excited for them. He hopes it doesn’t rain on their wedding day and he’s eternally grateful it’s not on [name_m]Friday[/name_m] the 13th. Those things both happened at the last wedding [name_u]Clovis[/name_u] attended - he almost didn’t go until he was told it was an indoor wedding, however he went from happy to horrified when a guest popped her umbrella open indoors.

He loves having something to take care of that isn’t too high-maintenance although people who know him closely say he’s obsessed with the houseplants. How can he be rebellious and cautious at the same time? Because part of his rebellious nature is not just breaking rules but also making his own rules.
