[name_u]Marie[/name_u] [name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f] [name_m]Grant[/name_m] (3) is Rhys’ younger sister & daughter of [name_f]Candace[/name_f] & [name_u]Owen[/name_u]. She is very lively & is always on the move. When out with the family (especially at the park) she has a tendency to run ahead of them. Secretly, she finds it fun when her parents chase after her. Because of this her parents believe she needs some discipline and way to release all of her energy so they signed her up for dance classes. [name_u]Marie[/name_u] loves them! She thinks her teacher is very pretty & nice & she has made lots of friends. She has become especially close with another little girl in her class who recently moved to her city from Norway. She also really enjoys getting to dress up and wear tutus because she also quite the little fashionista.
[name_f]Tove[/name_f] [name_f]Leonore[/name_f] Gunderson (3) is Marie’s friend from dance class. She moved from Norway with her family & is learning [name_f]English[/name_f] as a second language from her daycare and her nanny as well as her parents. Her parents moved to the US from Norway for her father’s job at the University. Her mom also teaches dance at the studio but she teaches tap.
[name_f]Ottoline[/name_f] [name_f]Toril[/name_f] Gunderson (31) is Tove’s mother. She is a tap dance teacher and is good friends with the Miltons. She loves motherhood and adores [name_f]Tove[/name_f] and watching her through all her milestones of growing up. She’s still close with her Norwegian culture despite the move and swears to always be so. She couldn’t be more grateful for the nanny for teaching [name_f]English[/name_f] and the daycare for making it easier for [name_f]Tove[/name_f] as well. She also is proud of her husband’s success and is always there for him.
MarkusOlafur Gunderson (31) is Tove’s father and Ottoline’s husband. He moved from Norway to the US for a job doing archaeological research and teaching archaeology at the university. His students love how he brings the past alive with the information gleaned from artifacts and seeing that people in the past were not that different from us. When Tove was a baby he didn’t go on any digs but this year the whole family is going to spend the summer at a dig site in New England.
[name_f]Marina[/name_f] [name_f]Emeraude[/name_f] [name_m]Santiago[/name_m] (24) is Tove’s nanny. She also teaches them [name_f]English[/name_f] although [name_f]Marina[/name_f] is also bilingual, speaking Spanish as part of her mother’s Peruvian culture. [name_f]Marina[/name_f] is also learning [name_u]French[/name_u] from her father’s [name_f]Haitian[/name_f] culture. She loves techno music and riding her bike around the city. She is an aunt to a 3-year-old girl who is also best friends with [name_u]Marie[/name_u] and [name_f]Tove[/name_f].
[name_f]Clarisse[/name_f] [name_f]Yesenia[/name_f] [name_m]Santiago[/name_m] (3) is Marina’s niece. [name_f]Clarisse[/name_f] loves going to dance class and even enjoys her aunt’s techno music. [name_f]Marina[/name_f] promised to take her to a rave when she gets older.
Clarisse’s is very close with her mother & loves to tag along with her when she goes to work. Her mother is a toy designer & often lets her test out the toys she is working on.
[name_f]Clarisse[/name_f] is very rambunctious & makes friends very easily. Her family & friends love her fiery personality.
