[name_f]Fiadh[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] (Byron) O’Neel (33) is Hagan’s daughter, who’s currently pregnant with her first child, the ‘Foetal [name_f]Holy[/name_f] Grail’ as her brother-in-law jokingly refers to the unborn daughter she’s carrying. On the occasions [name_f]Fiadh[/name_f] 's seen her dad in person since they conceived, she carefully selects her clothing to hide the small bump emerging, and she’s admitted to her in-laws that she has no clue how to break the news. It isn’t that she wants to keep her father from meeting her child, or being involved in their life, but his overbearing nature has proven exhaustive for her, worsening since she got married at 25 and didn’t immediately get to conceiving.
Having majored in psychology and then psychiatry, [name_f]Fiadh[/name_f] currently works as a child therapist who specialises in family court situations, typically custody battles. Although only her closest friends from work know this, [name_f]Fiadh[/name_f] considers she and her siblings’ often complex relationship with their father has prepared her for this line of work. She truly loves [name_m]Hagan[/name_m] - faults and all - but having so many expectations forced upon her and her husband (who uses he/xir pronouns) frightened [name_f]Fiadh[/name_f], especially when they were just dating, as Hagan’s behaviour actually scared off her first serious college boyfriend.
She and her husband have decided to name their daughter [name_f]Mariesa[/name_f], partly in tribute to Fiadhs’ mother, who she and her sibling credit as being their ‘source of sanity’. [name_m]Hagan[/name_m] and she divorced when [name_f]Fiadh[/name_f] was only a toddler, but - for all the issues that have passed regarding speculated grandchildren - they were amicable exes who ensured their children were raised in happiness and harmony. Fiadhs’ mom does know she’s expecting, although the tribute name has been kept a secret, as a special gift when their little girl’s born, and their excitement has been protected more as - 3 weeks before [name_f]Fiadh[/name_f] learned she was pregnant - she and her husband adopted a rescue cat, [name_m]Rafi[/name_m], who they’re still doting upon.
