[name_f]Manon[/name_f] [name_f]Ines[/name_f] Hannon (Nee Cowinsky) [28] is Izzi’s sister-in-law through her husband, as well as soon to be mother of a cousin to [name_u]Navi[/name_u] and his 4-year-old sister. She’s just four months along and pretty excited to become a mom as she adores her niece and nephew and is excited to see how they’ll interact with a cousin, both [name_f]Manon[/name_f] and Izzi think it could be a nice ‘trial’ for the two kids before Izzi and her husband make any choices to add any non-furry additions to their family.
Her unborn child will be her and her husband’s first baby, though they’re actually already parenting. Her husband has had custody over his niece since the girl was just three, though she’s now ten. Her mother, Mr. Hannon’s sister, got pregnant unexpectedly and unpreparedly when she already wasn’t really in a good place to even be taking care of herself. She made some bad choices and one thing led to another, leading to the court deciding that her daughter needed to be removed from her custody. She was set to be placed in the foster system as her grandparents were unable to take in a child due to her maternal grandmother having multiple sclerosis and her paternal family was not in the picture, but at just twenty-one the girl’s uncle volunteered to take her in so that she could be in a kinship adoption instead of being a ward of the state. The young girl refers to her uncle mostly by his name although has called him ‘dad’ on occasion, likewise the two of them agreed on calling her his ‘naughter’ as a portmanteau of ‘niece’ and ‘daughter.’
[name_f]Manon[/name_f] was a little unsure about getting involved with someone who had a child, but after meeting the little girl, who was seven at the time, she knew there was nothing to worry about. She had incredible chemistry with her husband and was only assured after meeting her that he was the one. Although becoming ‘Manon Hannon’ was a little bit of a bitter pill to swallow and it’s something that her own family gentle teases her for. She now thinks the rhyming is funny, and is glad that she’ll have the same last name as her husband, step-naughter, and baby-to-be.
