[name_f]Catalina[/name_f] ’ [name_u]Kitty[/name_u] ’ [name_f]Ysabel[/name_f] Ontiveros (21) is the girlfriend of Noor’s brother, who’s only 13 months her junior, and an employee of the shelter [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] was adopted from, who vouched for [name_u]Noor[/name_u] during the process as while they aren’t constantly socialising, the two respect and like each other well enough; with [name_u]Kitty[/name_u] knowing Noor’s an ideal pet owner. In contrast to her boyfriend, Kitty’s from a very small family: it’s her, her mom, stepdad and her younger half-brother who’s 8, while her biological father lives with his girlfriend in Ecuador, where Kitty’s paternal family all live.
She spends her summers visiting him and doesn’t begrudge his move to Manta, as her uncle needed support following the sudden passing of his wife, and Kitty’s very close to him as well, in spite of the physical distance. Thanks to Manta being a coastal city, it’s helped her become a very strong swimmer and beachball enthusiast, who loves spending time in the son - typically accompanied by her pet cat, Tygra, who’s a Bengali from the rescue where she works.
Kitty’s OCD prevented her from attending university - as exams exacerbate her worst symptoms and make life unbearably stressful - but she’s pursuing her dream of becoming a marine life centric zoologist through a mentoring vet she met at the rescue. Her little brother shares this love of animal life and they’re constantly hunting for bugs in the back garden together, sometimes accompanied by her boyfriend when he’s round. Aside from her studies, Kitty’s hugely into sustainable fashion and styling, a passion prominent in her friend group - and two of her friends have their own popular Depop business.
