She’s currently attending college online, while taking care of her now 2 year old daughter. She’s also her biggest supporter and the two have known one another since they were toddlers, although they’ve grown up into pretty different people. [name_f]Marissa[/name_f] is unapologetic and brash, with a rebellious nature, currently working as a sound technician for her cousin’s metal band, meaning she’s constantly on the move. She’s invited [name_u]Sydney[/name_u] to come with her more than once, hoping it will strike the balance if independence while ensuring there’s constant support.

She’s a fashion design student who also helps her sister with her metal band— this time with costuming and set design. She also minors in performance arts and is part of her university’s drama club. She doesn’t actually know what she wants to do with her life at this moment. She’s aloof and cold at first, but her closest friends and family knows beneath her icy demeanour is a ray of sunshine.

Talia Panthong (22) is the aforementioned metal band member, playing bass guitar for Ninth Circle, who’ve already got quite a respectable fanbase in Europe. [name_f]Talia[/name_f]’s just began touring full time after completing her degree in Religious Studies, with the epic poem The [name_u]Divine[/name_u] Comedy regularly being referenced in her music, as she’s both written and co-written numerous songs for the band.
She shares her sister’s reserved nature, albeit presenting as more serious, especially now she’s travelling so much. In spite of this, when [name_f]Talia[/name_f]’s relaxed she has a great sense of humour and is always willing to be a listening ear for her bandmates.

She is a fierce environmentalist and vegan and insists that, while the band is on tour, they are as eco-friendly as possible. She enjoys being in Europe, but misses her girlfriend who had to stay in the states to care for her aging grandmother.

Celia [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] Ashdown (24) is [name_u]Lindsay[/name_u]’s girlfriend and biggest suppòrter. Before Ninth Circle got their big break, she was a lighting tech for their gigs (having been recommended by the rhythm guitarist) and still works as one, albeit home based so she’s there for her grandma. [name_f]Celia[/name_f]’s grandma raised her and the two are incredibly close, even though she misses [name_u]Lindsay[/name_u] more than she likes to admit when the band’s away touring. To try and quell some of their mutual heartache, the pair Skype and call one another frequently, with [name_f]Celia[/name_f]’s two cats - [name_f]Tiggy[/name_f] & [name_f]Tuppence[/name_f] - providing constant amusing stories.

Dorinda [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] Ashdown (65) is [name_f]Celia[/name_f]’s grandmother. She raised her granddaughter because her daughter had [name_f]Celia[/name_f] when she was a teenager and she supported her by caring for [name_f]Celia[/name_f] while she went to school. She worked as nurse for her whole life and has just recently retired and is feeling somewhat lonely without seeing her coworkers and patients everyday. She skypes with her granddaughter and her daughter visits usually every 2 weeks. She is trying out various hobbies to figure out an enjoyable way to stay busy- she is currently trying bowling and watercolor painting.

Zihao ‘Zi’ Cheung-Lockart (22) is [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f]’s close friend and the significant other of her roommate. They’re also the rhythm guitarist for Ninth Circle, who chose to not attend university and instead focused on their music, becoming a fairly notorious figure in the local punk scene until they found the right band for them. Zi was adopted at two and grew up with loving parents - whom they’re still close to - and an older sister. They’re also the first to offer to walk [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f]’s dogs when they’re home and, on top of calling their girlfriend, send her numerous postcards, many of which have romantic poems written on them.
Jeanine “JT” [name_f]Theresa[/name_f] McCarthy (22) is Zi’s girlfriend and [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f]’s best friend and roommate. She’s also in culinary school, but her dream is to start her own successful bakery. She likes to go to trivia nights at local breweries and listen to NPR. She’s very close with her family, but especially her younger sister, who just started college.

She deferred attending college for a year after facing a great deal of stress during her exams, working at a stationary shop in the meantime. [name_u]Shay[/name_u]’s chosen to major in social work, although she hasn’t stopped her hobby of screen printing t-shirts, many of which feature cat designs for her precious Russian [name_u]Blue[/name_u] - [name_u]Indigo[/name_u]. As someone who often wakes up early, [name_u]Shay[/name_u] enjoys going for early morning drives, and sometimes her best friend accompanies her, during which time they have long chats.

He isn’t as much of a morning person as [name_u]Shay[/name_u], but he loves spending time with his best friend so he wakes up to go on drives with her anyway. [name_u]Jackson[/name_u] still lives with his moms, and they have an old dog, a 10 year old [name_u]Golden[/name_u] Retriever named [name_u]Chai[/name_u]. [name_u]Jackson[/name_u] is single, but he has a crush on one of his classmates.
