He’s a keen gardener, and during the summer and autumn months the family don’t have to buy any fruit and veg because he grows so much.

Marshall ‘[name_u]Mars[/name_u]’ [name_u]Aeron[/name_u] Fallbeck (22) is [name_f]Valerie[/name_f]’s boyfriend, the two having met when they were only thirteen after his parents took over the stable, at first only having his younger brother for company. [name_u]Mars[/name_u] wants to follow in their footsteps and can seem a bit aloof at first, preferring his own company a lot of the time, spending time exploring the outdoors - something he’s gotten [name_f]Valerie[/name_f] into over time. He also spends his weekends volunteering at a nearby animal shelter, having a particular fondness for dogs.

Peter [name_m]Rueben[/name_m] Fallbeck (44) is [name_u]Mars[/name_u]’s father. People always comment on how young he looks, saying he must be [name_u]Mars[/name_u]’s brother. [name_m]Peter[/name_m]’s family has been involved in ranching for almost 100 years and [name_m]Peter[/name_m] was thrilled to find the opportunity to own his own stable and continue the family tradition his own way. Outside of the stables you can find [name_m]Peter[/name_m] listening to audiobooks about musicians in history or making his own hot sauce.

Illyria Menna Umbridge (3) is [name_u]Andrea[/name_u]’s cousin. [name_u]Andrea[/name_u] is apparently her favourite person, because she teaches her to dance “like a fairy”. [name_f]Illyria[/name_f]’s parents own a small forest, where [name_f]Illyria[/name_f] and her siblings have a treehouse. This is [name_f]Illyria[/name_f]’s favourite place in the entire world and she has regular teddy bear picnics there. She’s very sociable and has lots of friends in her preschool class.

[name_f]Tasia[/name_f] loves poetry and usually finds somewhere quiet on her parents’ land to compose, although she’s more than happy to participate in the teddy bear picnics when a special guest is required. She has a bit of a perfectionist streak, but is generally an imaginative, kind hearted person. [name_f]Tasia[/name_f]’s also the first to volunteer to walk the family St. [name_m]Bernard[/name_m] - [name_u]Gus[/name_u] - and has recently saved up money from her weekend job to get a pet chinchilla, whom she’s named [name_f]Velvet[/name_f].

[name_f]Evie[/name_f]’s favourite thing is climbing, be it rocks or trees, with parkour being something she’s recently also began trying out. She’s bubbly, energetic and a little scatterbrained sometimes, always hosting sleepovers - and sometimes commandeering the tree house for privacy. Most mornings, [name_f]Evie[/name_f] tries to go for a run with the family’s younger dog, [name_m]Ferdie[/name_m] - a whippet, so she feels less bad about the biscuits she always buys at school.

He and his former wife have a good relationship in spite of no longer being together, working to co-parent their children together. An architect who’s able to work from home, [name_u]Layton[/name_u]’s a mild-mannered person who tends to come off as aloof and prefers to be private - although he’s an absolute goofball when it comes to his kids (much to the embarrassment of [name_f]Tasia[/name_f]). He also shares the girls’ love for animals and if caught in the right mood, is very easy to persuade into getting another.

[name_u]Nev[/name_u]’s love of skating tends to surprise people as she’s very feminine aesthetically, and even decorates her skateboard accordingly to this. She’s majoring in botanical sciences and knows the meanings behind pretty much any flower you can think of, resulting in her being a popular choice when it comes to dating advice. [name_u]Nev[/name_u] comes across as soft spoken and a little reserved, but she’s a total adrenaline junkie beneath her mild-mannered exterior.
