[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Darian[/name_m] â [name_m]Darrow[/name_m] â [name_m]Olivier[/name_m] Coogan (26) is the youngest brother of [name_f]Janie[/name_f], who shares quite a bit with both his siblings. Yet very much an individual. He was never a dancer, though sometimes he wishes that he picked up that skill because at Janieâs wedding, all he did during the dancing was basically step around. He works in astrophysics, and he wants to meet Enyaâs archaeologist friend, despite them working in different sciences. He knows heâs not one who âlooks or acts smartâ but he considers it a secret weapon, and he jokes on the side that heâs also an activist. [name_m]Darrow[/name_m] is good at improv and has an optimistic and lighthearted sense of humour. He was voted âParty Boyâ in his yearbook, even though heâs only hosted one house party and usually prefers to be a guest. [name_m]Darrow[/name_m] himself was surprised he got voted since he obviously didnât dance and wasnât the one getting all crazy. But ultimately he feels he got it because he was simply a hit at parties and he had a way to keep the mood light when controlling people whoâd otherwise go too far. Darrowâs still had to use some of these tactics, like having a fun and friendly conversation with a drunk person while sneaking his hand to take the keys away so they donât drive. While [name_m]Darrow[/name_m] is mostly liked, heâs very opinionated and makes a lot of non-sequitur statements. âCan you believe thereâs [name_f][/name_f]
legal adults[name_f][/name_f] now who were born
after[name_f][/name_f] [name_m]Pluto[/name_m] was demoted as a planet?â [name_m]Darrow[/name_m] was one of those kids who was genuinely sad when that happened in his childhood. But hey, heâs moved on and heâs happy now![name_f][/name_f]
[name_m]Darrow[/name_m] wasnât sure how [name_f]Janie[/name_f] and her husband would do as a couple, but heâs always optimistic in wanting them to âwildly succeed in a blaze of gloryâ or âdivorce tryingâ (though he said the former way[name_f][/name_f] more). [name_m]Darrow[/name_m] admits he has a lot of youthful energy as the youngest sibling, having a good attention span as long as he keeps it interesting. The people [name_m]Darrow[/name_m] gets along with least are boring or killjoy people and while his childhood was awesome, his parents always told him as a kid to not make so much noise outside. Thatâs because the neighbourhood had an enraged middle-aged couple who nobody liked because they were always yelling at their neighbours for the smallest things. People feared even walking past them because they overreacted a lot. [name_m]Darrow[/name_m] feels he relates to SpongeBob SquarePants[name_f][/name_f] in his character, and that the couple was basically Squidward (but more agitated and intimidating), not to mention, heâs a big huge stereotypical 2000s kid. The middle Coogan thinks itâs silly but [name_m]Darrow[/name_m] will defend it fiercely.

It never bothers him to hear his sister and her husband talk about dancing, because he doesnât hate[name_f][/name_f] it, he just feels like itâs not for him. Maybe in âanother universeâ it would be. While dancing never truly found him, he loves to see how the Coogan-Burkleys find fun in activities regardless of whether he would do them. He thinks theyâre great dancers and admits their kids would do better at dancing than him. He relates to wanting to avoid people, the way he did with the former neighbours, and [name_m]Darrow[/name_m] only likes crowds if itâs for something fun, not laundry. The âlaundry loveâ would never happen to him because he always does it early to âget that monotony out of the wayâ but loves how it helped somebody[name_f][/name_f]. He finds it awesome to see [name_f]Janie[/name_f] and [name_f]Enya[/name_f] reconnect, alongside [name_f]Janie[/name_f] about to ring in 10 years of marriage, and heâs always enjoyed blasts from the past. He just returned from a holiday in [name_f]Belize[/name_f], which was his first childhood vacation outside the country, and needless to say, he did everything as accurately as he remembered it then. [name_m]Darrow[/name_m] insists if his niece and nephew ever have a trip that theyâre old enough to remember, that they have[name_f][/name_f] to recreate it sometime as adults.
