Can I go again? [name_m]Can[/name_m] we have different types of worlds, too? I was thinking a fantasy type world for this friend group, based off the renaissance period with magic (since I’m a sucker for high fantasy).

Name : [name_m]Wystan[/name_m] [name_m]Everard[/name_m] [name_u]Mercer[/name_u]
Nickname(s) : Wys, or Wish (he’s not overly fond of that one)
Gender: Male
Age: 22, but looks older because of his eyebags
Sexuality: As of yet, he only cares for magic and books, but maybe someone could catch his eye.
Appearance: [name_m]Wystan[/name_m] isn’t known for his physical strength. He’s of average height, and a bit on the scrawny side. He has pale skin from being inside all day and black hair cut short but unevenly (why waste time on trying to make it look good?) and a bit of scruff (why waste time shaving?). His eyes are dark blue, and always have bags under them from his poor sleeping schedule. He also usually wears sapphire robes, but they’re kind of old and faded, and the silver trimming is all but worn off. He had a pointy hat, but lost it somewhere.
Personality: [name_m]Wystan[/name_m] is a classic grumpy wizard, much too jaded and pessimistic for his age. He prefers to be alone with himself, and is somewhat socially inept because of this. He’s honest, and sometimes that isn’t a good thing. He doesn’t like conflicts even though he is good at inadvertently starting them, and despite his appearance and gruff demeaner, he has a pretty soft heart. He much prefers practicality and function over aesthetic, and he thinks anything else is a waste. He is an extremely hard worker when it comes to what he is interested in. Other things, not so much.
Family: A mother and father whose names he doesn’t recall, as he left them young. An older brother somewhere, who he can only remember calling by the nickname ‘[name_u]Ori[/name_u]’.
Description: [name_m]Wystan[/name_m] has thrown himself entirely into his magic, something he thinks he understands better than other people. He has a small, rundown cottage in an idyllic clearing in the woods as his home that is everything to him, containing his books, cauldron, ingredients he has collected from the woodland, and all the notes on his research conducted over the years. He hums as he works, quietly, because he can’t carry a tune if his life depended on it. Particularly skilled in Repairing and Gravitational magic.
Backstory: At a young age, [name_m]Wystan[/name_m] was found to be gifted at magic, and was sent/taken to a small institution for wizards. He learned a lot there but found it too rigid in their philosophy, and left after he was old enough to be on his own. One day, in the nearby town where he was selling and buying ingredients and food, [name_m]Wystan[/name_m] unintentionally offended another powerful wizard at the tavern (insulted the height of his shoulder pads, probably). In response, this wizard sent [name_m]Wystan[/name_m]’s house…somewhere. He was drunk, and couldn’t really remember. So, [name_m]Wystan[/name_m] set off to find it, meeting others along the way that he made a point not to get attached to. Well, in that regard, he failed.
Friend Type : He’s that reluctant friend, the one you have to physically drag places with you, but has fun once they’re there.
Sorry if I went overboard with this, you can ignore most of it if you like. The world doesn’t have any rules or anything, so go crazy with it.
