Hello everyone,

I’ve been working on a tool to help expectant parents create unique names, www.namegrams.com. It creates new names by doing machine learning on popular names to know what letter combinations go well together. It also learns from the names you like and creates similar names. So as you use it more, the names get better and better. Let me know what you think.

Example girl names:
[name_f]Jacquelle[/name_f]
Sariana
[name_f]Adelia[/name_f]

Example boy names:
Edwayne
Davius
Randon

This is a really cool idea! I think it’d be great for writers doing post-apocalyptic or alternate history.
I got Audith and Donathan, which I really liked.
If I could just suggest generating more than one name at a time? And possibly unisex or both genders option.

Also it’s kind of interesting how many suggestions it comes up with that are like, actual words. I got [name_m]Steward[/name_m] once lol.

I see what you mean about displaying multiple names, but I want to make sure people spend at least a second considering each name, so that they don’t miss any promising candidates.

It’s a good idea to have a unisex option, since apparently unisex names are trending :). I’ll probably add it in the near future.

What names are people getting?

This is lots of fun! I got [name_f]Karine[/name_f] for girl and Chael for boy. I guess Chael is like [name_u]Kyle[/name_u].

I got Tildreanna, Leneva [name_f]Editha[/name_f], Lucillie and Floresa which I think are pretty cool

I think guys are kinda harder because people tend to be more creative with girls names whereas that isn’t so much so with guy names.
