Created Names

Hey, everyone! I was bored and made up a few names - what do you think? (The pronunciations are in the parentheses, and my favorites have stars next to them) They are all girl names.

Roelle (row-elle)
Ivienna (IH-vee-eh-nuh)
Ivionna (ih-vee-OHN-uh) or (ih-vee-OWN-uh) or (eye-vee-OWN-uh) *
Rheadora (ree-uh-DOOR-uh) *
Xylienne (ZYE-lee-ehn)
Xoeliana (zoe-elle-lee-OHN-uh)
Viodora (vee-uh-DOOR-uh
Vivileen (VIH-vuh-leen) *

OHN is pronounced like ‘on’ and the ‘uh’ sound is pretty much the letter ‘a’ in about.

These are all really weird but I like them as guilty pleasures… (blushes)
Have you ever created any names?

I like Roelle.

Roelle and Xylienne are my faves… and yes I made up so many names when I was smaller

~[name]Jasmine[/name]

I made up a name in the sense that Raziel is a real name (for a boy) and [name]Raziela[/name] is a real name (for a girl) and I wanted the [name]Danielle[/name]/[name]Gabrielle[/name] equivalent instead of the [name]Daniella[/name]/[name]Rafaela[/name] equivalent. So I think Razielle “should” work by the rules and logic of the languages involved.

But I don’t know that I’d be brave enough to use it [name]IRL[/name]. In a story, sure.

When we were younger, my friend wrote a story with a character named Elandren. I didn’t think that was half bad!

I like the sound of Xylienne.

I like Roelle, Xylienne, and Ivionna!!

Well I make up names of places for my stories, not sure if they are really made up since they might exist, never googled them, but mine are: Celewyn, Vanica, Aridale, Bralinor, and Egantine

I like the sound of [name]Raziella[/name] and Vanica! Those could work for something. Thanks for the replies.
