I just recently discovered the name Crescent and I love it as an alternative for Luna :crescent_moon::crescent_moon::baby:t3::sparkles:

I think [name_f]Crescent[/name_f] is beautiful! Interesting and evocative and straightforward to pronounce.

[name_f]Crescentia[/name_f] feels like a lovely compromise of the two! [name_f]My[/name_f] vote went for [name_f]Crescent[/name_f].

I love [name_f]Crescent[/name_f]. Creselia not so much, reminds me of a kind of lettuce. Sorry!

I love [name_f]Crescent[/name_f], but it reminds me of Islam.

Id pick [name_f]Luna[/name_f] way before either of these. [name_f]Crescent[/name_f] just makes me think of crescent rolls lol

We just call them croissants so that never came to mind, and I’ve heard [name_f]Luna[/name_f] so much it just sounds plain now

I prefer [name_f]Crescent[/name_f] over Creselia, but suggest [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] over both of them!

I prefer the look of crescent but the softer sounds of Creselia. There’s also Crescencia, pronounced cruh-SENN-see-uh, which you may also like.

@hellobanjo I think more about crescent moons, and crescent [name_u]Beach[/name_u], which is in my province. I also think of crescent jewelers, so I think of diamonds, which sparkle like the ocean, so when I say crescent, this is kind of the image that comes to mind

[name_f]Fancy[/name_f]! Yes I do think of the moon too. But its is unfortunately secondary to a Pillsbury brand bake at home roll that is purchased in a tube at the grocery store. They are delicious actually despite the slightly strange tube! Its not the same as a croissant at all though they do look a bit similar.
