Opinions? I absolutely love this name, but I don’t think I’d use it.
[name_f]Cressida[/name_f] [name_u]Lane[/name_u] is lovely! [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] used to be very high in my list, but I don’t love it’s nickname options. [name_u]Lane[/name_u] is a beautiful middle name. I actually really love how it makes a name sound like a street. [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] [name_u]Lane[/name_u] evokes imagery of willows lining the walkway, autumn leaves crunching underneath boots, and families in their homes cooking [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] dinner.
[name_f]Cressida[/name_f] is very pretty, but with [name_u]Lane[/name_u], it sounds like a suburban street name.
I love [name_f]Cressida[/name_f], but I would advise different middle.
[name_f]Cressida[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u]
[name_f]Cressida[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]
or
[name_f]Cressida[/name_f] [name_u]Rain[/name_u] would be nicer sounding
I really like [name_f]Cressida[/name_f], and it sounds good with [name_u]Lane[/name_u].
[name_f]Cressida[/name_f] [name_u]Lane[/name_u] is lovely, and definitely usable in my opinion.
I really like it and the autumn feel.
I love it, though it does sound a bit like a street name…I don’t mind that though, I think it’s beautiful
I adore [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] and would use it in a heartbeat. While it works with [name_u]Lane[/name_u] I do find [name_u]Lane[/name_u] a bit underwhelming. I love traditional names with [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] - eg [name_f]Frances[/name_f], [name_f]Catherine[/name_f], [name_f]Mary[/name_f]. Or nicknamey names - [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] [name_f]Maisie[/name_f], [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] [name_f]Polly[/name_f]. And some evocative - I do like pp suggestion of [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] [name_u]Rain[/name_u].
[name_f]Cressida[/name_f] is stunning! I think [name_u]Lane[/name_u] is sweet, and softens the name a bit. I think it’s perfectly usable!
(love the suggestions of [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] [name_u]Rain[/name_u] & [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]! also maybe [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] [name_u]Dove[/name_u]? isnt related to [name_u]Lane[/name_u] at all, but I thought it also sounded soft and sweet, so I thought I’d throw it out there!)
I absolutely love the combo It reminds me of [name_u]Penny[/name_u] lane by the Beatles, I know people with the last name [name_u]Lane[/name_u] who named their girls [name_u]Penny[/name_u] after the song.
