Hey everyone, I am looking for opinions and suggestions on these names.
These are some of my favourite names:
Ofaelia (oh-[name]FAY[/name]-lee-ah) probably my favourite name right now
[name]Gwyneira[/name]
[name]Eowyn[/name]
[name]Io[/name] (eye-oh)
[name]Lark[/name]
[name]Pallas[/name]
[name]Eos[/name]
[name]Astraea[/name]
Zarathustra
[name]Hypatia[/name]
I’ll give you one thing- your taste sure isn’t boring or classic.
Ofaelia (oh-[name]FAY[/name]-lee-ah) Sounds pretty to the ear
[name]Gwyneira[/name] Kind of clunky
[name]Eowyn[/name] Pretty
[name]Io[/name] (eye-oh) OK, also like Ia
[name]Lark[/name] Hmmm NMS but OK
[name]Pallas[/name] [name]Palace[/name]…no [name]Pal[/name]-ass?
[name]Eos[/name] NMS- sounds like a IT system
[name]Astraea[/name] Sounds like Australia a bit to me
Zarathustra [name]Hope[/name] she wouldn’t lisp… very busy
[name]Hypatia[/name] NMS…
Sorry, I like names you probably don’t much like either.
I did like [name]Eowyn[/name] and Ofaelia though.
would you like some more suggestions from us? also do unusual names go down well wherever you live?
Ofaelia (oh-[name]FAY[/name]-lee-ah) - Why are you spelling it like that? [name]Ofelia[/name] is pronounced the way you want it, and it is a real name. And lovely too.
[name]Gwyneira[/name] - [name]Love[/name], it’s very pretty.
[name]Eowyn[/name] - Beautiful, and the best character in [name]Lord[/name] of the Rings.
[name]Io[/name] (eye-oh) - [name]Lovely[/name] and sweet.
[name]Lark[/name] - A bird! A bird! They’re beautiful birds, so lithe and cute. Like the word too.
[name]Pallas[/name] - If you know with absolute certainty that your child will be skinny and beautiful, this is a lovely name. If not, no.
[name]Eos[/name] - [name]Love[/name] this name so much! On my own list. It’s stunning.
[name]Astraea[/name] - It’s lovely, but I think I mainly like it because of the myth. And it might sound like a mispronunciation of [name]Austria[/name].
Zarathustra - Ehm, first of all a mouthful, second: It’s a dude!
[name]Hypatia[/name] - Yes, I like this very much. [name]Hypatia[/name] was a cool lady.
If you want suggestions let me know!
the more suggestions the better. I like to hear criticism on my names because they are always changing and sometimes can pick up on names that are not really usable so I need that mental realization once in awhile.
The reasons for spelling Ofaelia the way I do is because I am worried [name]Ofelia[/name] would be mispronounced as (oh-feel-ee-ah). I do love the name [name]Ophelia[/name] but I am worried about possible teasing potential so I created a name that has it all for me-- similar to [name]Ophelia[/name], the soound of [name]Ofelia[/name], and the spelling I think looks better and has that magical look I so love. I am a fan of philosophy ([name]Hypatia[/name], the female philosopher. I also came across the name Zarathustra from Nietzsche’s “Thus Spoke Zarathustra” and I do realize it is referring to the man, however I find it more usable on a female. I would never use this name as a first but see it having potential as a middle.
Ofaelia, should be [name]Ofelia[/name], beautiful name when spelled correctly.
[name]Gwyneira[/name] - It looks pretty, but a little intimidating to say
[name]Eowyn[/name] - I like this one
[name]Io[/name] (eye-oh), Oh No, please don’t use this it is just plain confusing!
[name]Lark[/name] - Nice
[name]Pallas[/name] - I know that it’s a real name, but I think people might assume that you are saying [name]Palace[/name] and just spelling it differently
[name]Astraea[/name] - Looks pretty, no clue how to pronounce it though
Zarathustra - That’s a mouthful
[name]Hypatia[/name] - I am unsure of this, but it reminds me of the word hepatic which has to do with the liver
From your list, I would say go with Ofaelia, spelled [name]Ofelia[/name], [name]Eowyn[/name] or [name]Lark[/name]!
Thanks, I have realized that [name]Pallas[/name] may not be suitable for a first name but maybe would be more usable as a middle.
Also if you have any other names you might think I will like, feel free to give me some suggestions thanks guys

Thanks for the suggestions, from your list I really like: [name]Serafina[/name] (this is beautiful and I’ve actually came across this name before and had it on one of my former lists but I have forgotten about it!) [name]Bronwen[/name], Eilonwy (this looks very intriguing, how would you pronounce this?) , [name]Clio[/name], and [name]Arcadia[/name]. Thanks!
Eilonwy is pronounced eye-LAHN-wee.
Okay that’s what I thought too. It is pretty but I’m worried about mispronunciation now…
[name]Gwyneira[/name]- I like it! It’s very unique, but can be shortened to [name]Gwynn[/name], which is nice.
[name]Eowyn[/name]- This is okay, I don’t have much of a feeling about it.
[name]Io[/name] (eye-oh)- I’m not sure if I love it… I think I would like it better if there was some important meaning behind it… It’s just very simple and doesn’t totally roll of the tongue
[name]Lark[/name]- This is kinda nice, it reminds me of a bird and is very elegant.
[name]Pallas[/name]- I don’t like this one much because it reminds me of a clothing article, it’s not as exotic as some of the others
[name]Eos[/name]- I’m not too into this, it kind reminds me of the lip balm and I can’t shake the similarity
[name]Astraea[/name]- I like this… It sounds super pretty
Zarathustra- I like this one, it is pretty spunky and cool.
[name]Hypatia[/name]- I like this one! I always love names that contain y’s in them. This sounds very enchanting and mystic!
Great list!
The only name that appeals to me the slightest bit is [name]Lark[/name]. I really dislike the other ones, I’m sorry. Ofaelia sounds like you’re saying “Oh Fail, [name]Lea[/name]!” Which brings a negative vibe.
