[name_m]Hi[/name_m] [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], I love scanning your lists.
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] - I think it’s very sweet, but I find just [name_f]Rose[/name_f] or [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] to be more modern. [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] feels a little tired.
[name_u]Billie[/name_u] - I know it’s one of your favorites, but I much prefer it as a nickname. [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f]? [name_f]Willa[/name_f]? (is [name_f]Buffy[/name_f] off your list? I kind of liked the idea of [name_f]Buffy[/name_f] when you were considering it.)
[name_f]Clementine[/name_f] - I used to really dislike this name, but [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] has grown on me. I have to admit, though, it’s a name that Berries are so infatuated with but I wonder how other people would perceive it in real life… as I eat a clementine
[name_f]Fenella[/name_f] - Not a fan, it’s sounds kind of unattractive to me. Maybe just [name_f]Nella[/name_f] would be a cute option.
[name_f]Agnes[/name_f] - I like [name_f]Agnes[/name_f], it’s very sweet and vintage, and [name_f]Aggie[/name_f] is a great short form. I actually think [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] would be very versatile as far as fitting a girl of many personalities - it’s naturally subdued and bookish, but I feel like it could work in a roundabout way for sporty or outgoing girls as well.
[name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] (AY-lee) - very lovely! [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] is a gem of an Irish name.
[name_f]Briar[/name_f] - I think [name_f]Briar[/name_f] makes an alluring middle name, and a great up and coming first name too. My only condition is that I prefer a girly middle name to maintain a princessy type feel: not necessarily [name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], but maybe [name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], [name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Madeline[/name_f], [name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f], [name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f].
[name_f]Annabel[/name_f] - I adore [name_f]Annabel[/name_f], especially this spelling. Somehow it makes it sound less prissy, and more mysterious and glamorous. I am quite fond of the idea of [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] with a quirky middle, for example my current combo [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] [name_f]Indie[/name_f].
[name_f]Raphaela[/name_f] - very pretty and exotic, I admire [name_f]Raphaela[/name_f].
[name_f]Una[/name_f] / [name_f]Oona[/name_f] - I really love [name_f]Oona[/name_f], not into [name_f]Una[/name_f], as it’s nothing more than an indefinite spanish article to me. [name_f]Oona[/name_f] is quirky and lovable, and the meaning of “lamb” is darling. I can picture a little dark-haired [name_f]Oona[/name_f] writing her name on her worksheets in grade school and turning the O’s into eyes.
[name_f]Marcia[/name_f] ([name_f]MAR[/name_f]-see-uh) - I would have pronounced this [name_f]MAR[/name_f]-shuh, or my second guess would have been [name_f]Mar[/name_f] -SEE - uh, so I find it a bit confusing. It’s nice overall, but not as lovely as some of your other options.
[name_f]Aoife[/name_f] (EE-fa) - [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Aoife[/name_f], and I’m glad to know it would fare well where you live in terms of comprehension.
[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] - [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] is a favorite of mine, it sounds refined and girly, with a variety of chic nickname options. It’s just a solid classic that would be a lovely name for any girl.
[name_f]Mavis[/name_f] - [name_f]Mavis[/name_f] sounds rather harsh to me, so I’m inclined to prefer [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], or even [name_f]Maven[/name_f].
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f]-[name_f]Jane[/name_f] - both names are lovely, but together I don’t think they embody the rhythm of the ideal double barreled name. Too long for me, but just using [name_f]Jane[/name_f] as a middle for [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] could still warrant the nickname “[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]”.
[name_f]Perdita[/name_f] - I am very intrigued by [name_f]Perdita[/name_f], (it’s Shakepearean, no?) though the pronunciation dupes me once in a while. ([name_m]PER[/name_m]-ditt-uh? [name_m]Per[/name_m] - [name_f]DEE[/name_f] - tug? Pair - [name_f]DEE[/name_f] - tug? I’m never sure). It was a character in 101 Dalmatians, so I’m biased by my childhood obsession, but I think it’s gorgeous. I’d love to hear more about [name_f]Perdita[/name_f].
[name_f]Alberta[/name_f] - My first thought was the Canadian city. I think [name_f]Alba[/name_f] may just be nicer on its own, to be honest.
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] - I’m neutral on [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]. It’s nice, but doesn’t shine for me.
[name_f]Celeste[/name_f] - I really love the feel of [name_f]Celeste[/name_f], not crazy about resemblance to “molest” but that childish concern aside, it’s fantastic and…well, heavenly!
[name_f]Emmanuelle[/name_f] - I have a love affair with [name_f]Emmanuelle[/name_f], I used to dislike it, but noticed it’s potential at the start of this winter. To me it’s lyrical and elegant, with a ton of stellar nicknames. [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] Rossum gives the name a great image too. I give it two thumbs up!
And [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Briar[/name_f]? I really like it! If you don’t want the princess feel, though, I would stray away from anything combining [name_f]Rose[/name_f] with [name_f]Briar[/name_f]. Best of luck!
