[name]Don[/name]'t hold back! complete and utter honesty, ruthlessness and sacrifice are the key to naming a human being. (They are only my reserve names anyway)

I am thinking Freddie, Archie & Jamie are probably too common. And maybe some of the girls names might be too foreign? Some of them might be slightly posh or ‘dated’ but they do work where i live.

(Kitty- like in Pride and Prejudice!!)

GIRLS
[name]Lorena[/name] - Here is [name]North[/name] [name]America[/name], [name]Lorena[/name] is associated with [name]Lorena[/name] Bobbitt (look her up and see what she did to her husband).

Phina/[name]Josephina[/name] - I prefer [name]Josephine[/name] nn [name]Posey[/name]

[name]Rosalind[/name] - lovely Shakespearean gem

[name]Luna[/name] - trendy

[name]Kitty[/name]/[name]Katherine[/name] - I prefer the French spelling [name]Catherine[/name] (I like the letter “C” much more than “K” for most names)

[name]Lucia[/name] - gorgeous

[name]Ada[/name]/[name]Adelaide[/name] - I like both names

[name]Leona[/name] - just makes me think of [name]Leona[/name] Helmsley ([name]Queen[/name] of Mean)

[name]Nadia[/name] - I think of the perfect 10 gymnast from the Montreal Olympics, [name]Nadia[/name] Comaneci. It still has some European flair.

[name]Irina[/name] - [name]Irene[/name] is a family name for me so this exotic sister is quite fine.

[name]Nicola[/name] - I prefer this to [name]Nicole[/name]. When I was young, I knew an Australian girl named [name]Nicola[/name] nn [name]Nikki[/name]. She never had to worry about sharing her name with anyone.

[name]Iris[/name] - one of my favourite flower name.

BOYS

[name]Dominic[/name] - This name has shed it’s predominately Italian image and it’s gone global. It’s strong and masculine.

[name]Charles[/name] - a traditional name with loads of history. I do love [name]Charlie[/name].

[name]Caspar[/name] - I prefer [name]Jasper[/name] but this is ok.

[name]Tristan[/name] - a softer boys name with a Welsh history to back it up. I love more gentler boys names.

[name]Freddie[/name]/[name]Frederick[/name] - A fine full name with a cute nn.

[name]Archie[/name]/[name]Archibald[/name] - [name]Don[/name]'t like names with “bald” in them. [name]Archie[/name] is cute for a boy but I would choose something like [name]Archer[/name] for a full name.

[name]Jamie[/name]/[name]James[/name] - [name]James[/name] is fine. [name]Jamie[/name] is juvenile.

[name]Rowan[/name] - This is one unisex name I can get behind. I also like [name]Rohan[/name].

[name]Owen[/name] - OK but never a favourite of mine. It’s the Welsh form of [name]Eugene[/name]. I don’t know where that association came from but some Anglicizations of Celtic names are odd. I prefer the Irish [name]Eoghan[/name] or the Scottish [name]Ewan[/name] more than [name]Owen[/name].

Okay, here goes!

[name]Lorena[/name]: Ick. I really dislike this name.
Phina: I prefer [name]Josephine[/name], nn [name]Josie[/name], to [name]Josephina[/name] nn Phina.
[name]Rosalind[/name]: Pretty nice, but doesn’t really have the wow factor in my opinion!
[name]Luna[/name]: I love this! Does it bother you that it’s getting trendier though?
[name]Kitty[/name]: This is okay…I prefer [name]Catherine[/name] nn [name]Cat[/name].
[name]Lucia[/name]: I dislike [name]Lucia[/name], but I loooove [name]Lucy[/name]!
[name]Ada[/name]: I don’t like this.
[name]Leona[/name]: Um…
[name]Nadia[/name]: This is a nice name!
[name]Irina[/name]: I dunno, I just don’t like it.
[name]Nicola[/name]: It makes me think of Coca-Cola! Sorry, but you wanted the truth. If you’re looking for a spunky variation of [name]Nicole[/name], how about [name]Nicolette[/name]?
[name]Iris[/name]: I’m not really a fan of goddess names…

Good luck!

[name]Lorena[/name] - I think this is a lovely name
Phina- also nice and differnt to the usual josie of that name… also could use zephie…
[name]Rosalind[/name] - not sure of this name
[name]Luna[/name]- [name]Love[/name]
[name]Kitty[/name] ideal for katherine nn
[name]Lucia[/name]- is the is lu-see-ah or lu-chea
[name]Ada[/name] nice also nice nn
[name]Leona[/name] yeah this is nice - feminine form of leon
nadia- doesnt float my boat
[name]Irina[/name] - not sure on this one either
[name]Nicola[/name] - a name that was very popular when i was younger-
iris- thats nice

Domonic- an ok name im not a fan but i dont hate
[name]Charles[/name]- hmm i think i prefer charlie
[name]Casper[/name] very nice
[name]Tristan[/name]- i used to liek this name alot.
[name]Freddie[/name] is nice but i think i’d just use it as freddie not frederick
archie- smae as freddie
jamie is ok for nn for james
[name]Rowen[/name] is nice…
[name]Owen[/name] - i prefer rowen lol

Sorry…x

[name]Lorena[/name] - Feels really dated, stuck in limbo between [name]Laura[/name] and [name]Brenna[/name]
Phina- Sounds like it should be a swear word, or at least slang for something inappropriate, but [name]Josephine[/name] is nice
[name]Rosalind[/name] - Prefer pretty much any other [name]Rose[/name] name; [name]Rosamund[/name], [name]Rosaline[/name]…[name]Rosalind[/name] is too dated along with [name]Linda[/name] imo
[name]Luna[/name] - okay, but a little “loopy” for me
[name]Kitty[/name] - like [name]Katherine[/name], and [name]Kitty[/name] is better than [name]Kathy[/name]
[name]Lucia[/name]- I prefer loo-see-uh too, and think this is a great name!
[name]Ada[/name] - nod bad, but beware the American Disabilities Associasion, the American Dental Association…and I prefer the softer [name]Adeline[/name] to [name]Adelaide[/name]
[name]Leona[/name] - I want to say [name]Leonie[/name] or [name]Ilona[/name]…
[name]Nadia[/name] - does “nada” for me
[name]Irina[/name] - [name]Will[/name] spend her whole life explaining she is not [name]Irena[/name]
[name]Nicola[/name] - Prefer [name]Nicole[/name] or [name]Nicolette[/name], though I can see the appeal
[name]Iris[/name]- not bad, if dated

[name]Dominic[/name]- [name]Love[/name]! Classic and timeless without being popular
[name]Charles[/name]- Agree about no [name]Charlie[/name]. But I still feel like [name]Charles[/name] rolls off the tongue weird, like barrels
[name]Caspar[/name] - wasn’t he a king of Orient Are (bearing gifts, we traverse afar)? Or was that [name]Gaspar[/name]? Another connection: BOO! [name]Cassie[/name] doesn’t seem a friendly name for a boy either
[name]Tristan[/name]- Not bad, but “triste” means sad in French, so that’s what I think of
[name]Freddie[/name] - love! So far out it’s back in!
[name]Archie[/name] - hee hee [name]Archibald[/name] I’d hate to be him, but I’d love to see a kid named [name]Archibald[/name].
[name]Jamie[/name] - I’d stick with calling him [name]James[/name]
[name]Rowan[/name] - Row, row, row your boat, gently down the stream…
[name]Owen[/name] - love! [name]One[/name] of my all-time favorites!

In short, I love your boy naming style, but not your girl’s.

[name]Lorena[/name] - I love this. I love that it’s not overly complicated but it still feels exotic and unusual. (at least here where I live)

Phina (josephina) -[name]LOVE[/name], beautiful.

[name]Rosalind[/name] - I like this quite a bit, I prefer [name]Rosalie[/name], but this is very romantic and beautiful but not over the top.

[name]Luna[/name] - very cute, I’ve always had a soft spot for her.

[name]Kitty[/name] (katherine) - I adore [name]Kitty[/name] as a nickname! I would likely go for [name]Catharina[/name], myself, but [name]Katherine[/name] certainly works and you really cannot go wrong with [name]Katherine[/name].

[name]Lucia[/name] - Beautiful name and I like your pronunciation the most. I actually prefer Lucelia, but [name]Lucia[/name] is probably one of my favorite of the luc- names.

[name]Ada[/name] (adelaide) - [name]Adelaide[/name] has grown on me A LOT this past year and I think [name]Ada[/name] as a nickname is wonderful.

[name]Leona[/name] - I quite like this one, I think it feel very cool and chic.

[name]Nadia[/name] - It’s nice enough, never been on my list, but nothing wrong with it.

[name]Irina[/name] - I always thought this was cute.

[name]Nicola[/name] - I think this may be masculine…I don’t love female [name]Nic[/name]- names in general, though.

[name]Iris[/name] - Never been a big fan, but certainly not a bad name at all.

(And I don’t know how it is in the UK, but here in the US, I wouldn’t be too bothered about having a name that sounds foreign, globalization is becoming more and more a fact of life, there’s no reason not to embrace it, I think it’s great.)

[name]Dominic[/name] - This is our top pick for a boy right now, fantastic
[name]Charles[/name] (not charlie)- I love [name]Charles[/name] (I like [name]Charlie[/name], too) but meeting a [name]Charles[/name] that goes by [name]Charles[/name] would be awesome.
[name]Caspar[/name] - [name]Love[/name]
[name]Tristan[/name] - Very handsome, love
[name]Freddie[/name] (frederick) - I love [name]Fredrick[/name], but I don’t love [name]Freddie[/name], nothing wrong with it, though.
[name]Archie[/name] (archibald) - This is adorable, I love it
[name]Jamie[/name] (james) - My fiance is [name]James[/name] and I call him [name]Jamie[/name] as a pet name, I quite love [name]Jamie[/name] on a guy, I think it’s sweet.
[name]Rowan[/name] - love
[name]Owen[/name] - not a favorite, but I don’t see anything wrong with it.

I like [name]Josephina[/name], but with the [name]Josefina[/name] spelling. I love [name]Luna[/name], [name]Rosalind[/name], [name]Lucia[/name], [name]Adelaide[/name], and [name]Iris[/name]. I think [name]Nadia[/name] is pretty, too.
I love [name]Caspar[/name] and [name]Rowan[/name]. I like [name]Dominic[/name], [name]Frederick[/name], and [name]James[/name] but they’re too popular for me. I hate [name]Archibald[/name] and [name]Owen[/name]. [name]Tristan[/name] isn’t my style, but it’s not bad.

It’s not [name]Archibald[/name] people it’s archie! that is only the official name.

i really like violet by the way, i think i would probably like it even more if it wasn’t so common.

I believed you when you said don’t hold back. Please don’t hunt me down and kill me.

[name]Lorena[/name] - Redneck, dated, twangy. Maybe even uglier than [name]Loretta[/name] and [name]Lucille[/name].
Phina (josephina) - Nice.
[name]Rosalind[/name] - Good solid name but a bit harsh and middle aged. I think the RAHZ pronunciation makes it harder/heavier sounding than more [name]Rose[/name]-sounding rose names like [name]Rosemary[/name] or [name]Rosamund[/name].
[name]Luna[/name] - [name]Love[/name] it but would probably keep it as a MN
[name]Kitty[/name] (katherine) - Prefer [name]Katharine[/name] with two a’s, as in Hepburn. [name]Do[/name] like it though. And [name]Kitty[/name] is endearing, much nicer than [name]Katie[/name].
[name]Lucia[/name] - [name]Love[/name] it but quite popular. If you don’t care, I don’t care, its really nice.
[name]Ada[/name] (adelaide) - Would cut [name]Ada[/name] free of [name]Adelaide[/name], personally. [name]Ada[/name] can stand alone.
[name]Leona[/name] - Good pick, like it. [name]Love[/name] [name]Leora[/name] more though.
[name]Nadia[/name] - Nads. No.
[name]Irina[/name] - Pretty in a thin ballerina sort of way.
[name]Nicola[/name] - No. [name]Nicole[/name] by any name is still a [name]Nicky[/name], and i hate [name]Nicky[/name]/[name]Nikki[/name] etc.
[name]Iris[/name] - [name]Lovely[/name].

[name]Dominic[/name] - [name]Love[/name] it, gorgeous name, on my own list.
[name]Charles[/name] (not charlie) - I love [name]Caroline[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name] is fine but [name]Charles[/name] gives me the shits.
[name]Caspar[/name] - Ack. Hate.
[name]Tristan[/name] - [name]Love[/name]
[name]Freddie[/name] (frederick) - No.
[name]Archie[/name] (archibald) - I like [name]Archie[/name]. I’d use it as short for [name]Arthur[/name] because I’ve seen that before and [name]Arthur[/name] is a lot more likable than [name]Archibald[/name]. I realize you’re hardly going to use the official name anyway but there we are.
[name]Jamie[/name] (james) - Dull. Not offensive. [name]Just[/name]. Very. Dull.
[name]Rowan[/name] - [name]Love[/name] it.
[name]Owen[/name] - [name]Love[/name] it, solid choice.

[name]Lorena[/name]-NO
Phina/[name]Josephina[/name]- Not Phina, it sounds like a fairy. [name]Josephina[/name] is a little bit better.
[name]Rosalind[/name]- I like this one a lot.
[name]Luna[/name]- I have always loved this name.
[name]Kitty[/name]/[name]Katherine[/name]- do NOT use [name]Kitty[/name] as a nickname. [name]EVER[/name]. It has many negative associations. But [name]Katherine[/name] is fine.
[name]Lucia[/name]- I like it
[name]Ada[/name]/[name]Adelaide[/name]- I think [name]Adelaide[/name] sounds like Mayonnaise.
[name]Leona[/name]- nope. sounds like an ethnic dancer
[name]Nadia[/name]- see [name]Leona[/name]
[name]Irina[/name]- sounds like [name]Irene[/name]. Nope ;/

[name]Dominic[/name]- to gang like for my taste
[name]Charles[/name]- its alright
[name]Caspar[/name]- the ghost ruined it
[name]Tristan[/name]- eh
[name]Freddie[/name]/[name]Frederick[/name]- [name]Frederick[/name] but the nicknames that go along with it are not
[name]Archie[/name]/[name]Archibald[/name]- no
[name]Jamie[/name]/[name]James[/name]- I’ve always seen [name]Jamie[/name] as a girl’s name. If you use [name]James[/name] i don’t think I’d use that nickname.
[name]Rowan[/name]- [name]Love[/name]
[name]Owen[/name]- [name]Love[/name]

[name]Lorena[/name]- I don’t understand the hate for this name. It’s beautiful, a Spanish classic. In my area it’d fit right in no problem. And I hadn’t the faintest idea who [name]Lorena[/name] Bobbitt was until I looked it up- she’s not a prominent association for me.
Phina (josephina)- I prefer [name]Josephina[/name] to [name]Josephine[/name]. It’s a great name!
[name]Rosalind[/name]- Not my style, but a good name.
[name]Kitty[/name] (katherine) - [name]Kitty[/name] isn’t my thing, but [name]Katherine[/name] is great and she can change to that or [name]Kat[/name] or [name]Kate[/name] if she chooses.
[name]Ada[/name] (adelaide) - I like [name]Adelaide[/name] and [name]Ada[/name], but I don’t think they need each other. I prefer either on its own.
[name]Lucia[/name] - [name]Luna[/name] - [name]Leona[/name] - [name]Nadia[/name] - [name]Irina[/name] - [name]Iris[/name]- I love all of these!
[name]Nicola[/name]- This, to me, is all boy. I forget that it’s used as a girl’s name, especially in the UK. It’s the male Italian form of [name]Nicholas[/name], as in [name]Nicola[/name] Sacco and the Serbian [name]Nikola[/name] Tesla.

[name]Dominic[/name] - [name]Love[/name]!
[name]Charles[/name] (not charlie)- I don’t think [name]Charles[/name] without a nickname is gonna happen. If not [name]Charlie[/name], offer a different nn option, even [name]Char[/name] or something, because I’m not sure people would just use [name]Charles[/name]. It’s very formal.
[name]Caspar[/name] - Really dislike it, and I don’t like [name]Jasper[/name] either. The ghost did ruin it.
[name]Tristan[/name] - Not my taste.
[name]Freddie[/name] (frederick) - I like it, but not my favorite here
[name]Archie[/name] (archibald) - I can’t stand [name]Archibald[/name]. [name]Archie[/name] is cute. Maybe [name]Archer[/name]?
[name]Jamie[/name] (james) - [name]Love[/name] [name]Jamie[/name] on a boy! It’s good as a nn.
[name]Rowan[/name] - I really like this.
[name]Owen[/name] - Prefer [name]Rowan[/name], but it’s not bad.

[name]Lorena[/name] : hmm…I don’t care for it much…it feels “old” to me. I like [name]Lena[/name] though, which can be made out of that name;) oh, and i totally agree with mischa, the [name]Lorena[/name] Bobbitt association stands out to me as well…

Phina : prefer [name]Josephina[/name]/[name]Josephine[/name] nn [name]Josey[/name]…it’s kinda hard to avoid seeing that P and pronouncing it hard…if you don’t see the h.

[name]Rosalind[/name] : [name]Rosa[/name]-lind? it’s sort of pretty …i think the ‘d’ at the end is pretty hard though…I mean it is a stop, an end, you know? other names, like [name]Anna[/name]…that “a” is lighter…okay that makes more sense in my head…sorry

[name]Luna[/name] : cute

[name]Kitty[/name] (katherine) : ehh, never liked the whole [name]Kitty[/name] nn…[name]Katherine[/name] nn [name]Kat[/name] is cute though

[name]Lucia[/name] : like this one!

[name]Ada[/name] (adelaide) : probably my favorite from your list!

[name]Leona[/name] : i can’t say this right  i think having “on” in a girls name is a little strange…it’s like [name]Lee[/name] on a

[name]Nadia[/name] : okay…I prefer [name]Natalia[/name]

[name]Irina[/name] : prettier than [name]Irene[/name], honestly…no offense to anyone who likes or is an [name]Irene[/name]
[name]Nicola[/name] : cute
[name]Iris[/name] : it’s growing on me…

[name]Dominic[/name] : used to really love this name…i still think it’s cute
[name]Charles[/name] : well, it has the [name]Charles[/name] Ingalls association for me…which I love! but i don’t like the sound of the name
[name]Caspar[/name] : hmm…its okay, if you don’t mind the Friendly Ghost association
[name]Tristan[/name] : sweet on a little kid, can’t picture on an adult though
[name]Archie[/name] : don’t really like it…makes me think “itchie”
[name]Jamie[/name] : this is cute
[name]Rowan[/name] : i like it
[name]Owen[/name] : sweet…I kinda prefer [name]Rowan[/name] though
[name]Freddie[/name] : i like it…it’s one of my favorite “old fashioned names”

Here are my two cents:

[name]Lorena[/name]: I don’t care for this name. It sounds like a hipper version of [name]Lorraine[/name], which reminds me of cranky old ladies. The ending also bothers me. It sounds too much like ‘anus’.
Phina: I prefer [name]Josephine[/name] to [name]Josephina[/name]. It sounds much more elegant to me. Also, Phina just reminds me of fungi and some other words I can’t mention here.
[name]Rosalind[/name]: I adore this name! It’s beautiful.
[name]Luna[/name]: I immediately think of [name]Luna[/name] Lovegood from the [name]Harry[/name] [name]Potter[/name] series. Although I love [name]Luna[/name], I don’t like the name.
[name]Kitty[/name]: This nickname reminds me of some inappropriate words as well. I love [name]Katherine[/name], and [name]Kitty[/name] of Pride and Prejudice. I recently came across [name]Cassie[/name] as a nickname for [name]Catherine[/name], which I thought was rather unique. But, you would have to go with the ‘C’ spelling for that to work.
[name]Lucia[/name]: Very nice! A unique replacement for the ever so popular [name]Lucy[/name].
[name]Ada[/name]: I prefer [name]Addie[/name] as a nickname for [name]Adelaide[/name], but that is very overused. I think [name]Ada[/name] is a nice, fresh substitute. I could see it growing on me too.
[name]Leona[/name]: I don’t think this name at all.
[name]Nadia[/name]: It reminds me of Octomom.
[name]Irina[/name]: I’ve always liked the name [name]Irene[/name], but [name]Irina[/name] sounds like a girlier, updated version. Nice!
[name]Nicola[/name]: I like [name]Nicole[/name] better.
[name]Iris[/name]: [name]Lovely[/name]! It’s such a sweet name.

[name]Dominic[/name]: I love this name! It’s so handsome.
[name]Charles[/name]: Such a strong, masculine name. But, I do love ‘[name]Charlie[/name]’ as a nickname.
[name]Caspar[/name]: I like this name, but it does remind me of [name]Caspar[/name] the Ghost.
[name]Tristan[/name]: A very handsome name! If Mr. [name]Fitzwilliam[/name] [name]Darcy[/name] had a more “present day” name, [name]Tristan[/name] would be it.
[name]Freddie[/name]: I love this nickname, although [name]Frederick[/name] sounds very hard to me.
[name]Archie[/name]: Again, I love this nickname, but [name]Archibald[/name] is such a hard sounding name.
[name]Jamie[/name]: I prefer the strong, classic sound of [name]James[/name], but [name]Jamie[/name] is one of my favorite nicknames too!
[name]Rowan[/name]: I grew up with two Rowans, and I strongly disliked both of them. They have ruined the name for me.
[name]Owen[/name]: It sounds too much like [name]Rowan[/name].

My favorite girls names: [name]Rosalind[/name], [name]Iris[/name], [name]Lucia[/name], [name]Ada[/name].
My favorite boys names: [name]Dominic[/name], [name]Tristan[/name], [name]Jamie[/name], [name]Freddie[/name], [name]Archie[/name].

It’s very hard to narrow this list down!

I really like [name]Leona[/name], iris, and [name]Owen[/name]

[name]Lorena[/name] - I actually love [name]Lorena[/name]. Probably because I love [name]Lorelei[/name] and [name]Loretta[/name] and [name]Lorena[/name] fits in nicely.
Phina ([name]Josephina[/name]) - Phina is spunky but I love [name]Posey[/name] and [name]Joe[/name] so much that were I to name a [name]Josephine[/name]/a Phina wouldn’t make my nn list.
[name]Rosalind[/name] - sophisticated and beautiful. I think it’s recognizability is a plus but I love that it isn’t overly common.
[name]Luna[/name] - I keep thinking about Looney [name]Luna[/name] but I know many love this.
[name]Kitty[/name] ([name]Katherine[/name]) - I mean it’s more interesting than [name]Kate[/name] but [name]Kitty[/name] doesn’t strike me as nearly as interesting or intriguing as your other nn options.
[name]Lucia[/name] - very pretty. Probably one of my favorite of your girls options…
[name]Ada[/name] ([name]Adelaide[/name]) - I dislike [name]Ada[/name] but love [name]Adelaide[/name]. would prefer Lady or [name]Addy[/name] as a nn.
[name]Leona[/name] -
[name]Nadia[/name] & [name]Irina[/name] - [name]Both[/name] are pretty but they are also both to Eastern European for my taste. (There is nothing wrong with that it’s just not my cup’a.)
[name]Nicola[/name] - I don’t like [name]Nicole[/name] or [name]Nicola[/name]. I find them both oddly masculine. Though I do like [name]Nicolas[/name].
[name]Iris[/name] - I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Iris[/name].

[name]Dominic[/name] - I have mix feelings about [name]Dominic[/name]. Probably because I haven’t really liked all [name]Dominic[/name]'s I’ve known but theoretically I see the appeal.
[name]Charles[/name] (not charlie) - It’s a great classic. [name]Chuck[/name] could be a great nn instead of the ever popular [name]Charlie[/name].
[name]Caspar[/name] - It’s a perfectly nice name. I just always think of the ghost. I prefer [name]Jasper[/name] instead.
[name]Tristan[/name] - It’s in my signature. 'nuff said.
[name]Freddie[/name] (frederick) - I like [name]Frederick[/name] I don’t love [name]Freddie[/name].
[name]Archie[/name] (archibald) - No thank you.
[name]Jamie[/name] (james) - I love [name]Jamie[/name]. I don’t care how popular it is. I don’t love [name]James[/name] as much but [name]Jamie[/name] is just very fun.
[name]Rowan[/name] - I really like [name]Rowan[/name] but would also consider [name]Roman[/name]. I don’t know if it’s just on NB but I feel like I’ve been hearing a lot about [name]Rowan[/name] lately and find it refreshing on a girl but less so on a boy.
[name]Owen[/name] - I prefer [name]Eoin[/name] after one of my favorite pre-teen writers [name]Eoin[/name] Colfer, but [name]Owen[/name] is very handsome and easy.

I love [name]Iris[/name], [name]Caspar[/name] and [name]Freddie[/name] the best!

I didn’t like [name]Lorena[/name] until I saw how you pronounce it and now I actually think it’s cute! I’ve never heard of it before though and I would probably go with the classic [name]Lorraine[/name].

I like [name]Josephine[/name] with the nickname “[name]Josie[/name]” but [name]Josephina[/name] just seems less classy than [name]Josephine[/name] and I don’t really like any names with the ‘eena’ or ‘een’ sound.

[name]Rosalind[/name] - like it a lot! sounds very professional and you could use the cute nickname “[name]Rosie[/name]”

[name]Luna[/name] - this is one of my least favorite names ever but I have no idea why. It’s a perfectly respectable name but I just can’t stand the sound :frowning:

[name]Kitty[/name] - I actually know a [name]Katherine[/name] that goes by [name]Kitty[/name]! It’s not my favorite nickname for [name]Katherine[/name] but I also don’t mind it

[name]Lucia[/name] - don’t mind it but it’s not my favorite

[name]Ada[/name]/[name]Adelaide[/name] - love [name]Adelaide[/name], [name]Ada[/name] just seems too harsh to me

[name]Leona[/name] - love it! spunky and classic at the same time. I like how unique it is

[name]Nadia[/name] - I like the sound of it but it seems kind of trendy to me

[name]Irina[/name] - the ‘eena’ sound turns me off again

[name]Dominic[/name] - don’t care for it. It doesn’t have a very pleasant sound/is pretty trendy nowadays (at least where I live)
[name]Charles[/name] - love it! It would be hard to stay away from the nickname [name]Charlie[/name] (which I personally love) but [name]Charles[/name] is so underused
[name]Caspar[/name] - love it! another underused name
[name]Tristan[/name] - can’t stand it but don’t know why again haha. I tend to dislike ‘T’ names
[name]Freddie[/name] - love it! this is one of those names that people think is common but you never really see anymore. I’d love to meet a little [name]Freddie[/name]
[name]Archie[/name] - sounds kind of jokey, that’s probably just where I live though, it would work in the UK
[name]Jamie[/name] - love [name]James[/name], [name]Jamie[/name] sounds like a girl to me
[name]Rowan[/name] - prefer it on a girl but it’s still nice on a boy
[name]Owen[/name] - love it! [name]Even[/name] though it’s pretty common now I love the sound and simplicity of it
