Cross-Cultural Boy Name Help

[name_m]Hi[/name_m],

We are really having a difficult time to find a boy name that works in both cultures in [name_f]India[/name_f] and USA. We would prefer an [name_f]Indian[/name_f] origin name but even an western name that has a international sound to it would be considered.

Suggestions please

I really like [name_f]Indian[/name_f] names and I feel like they do tend to work well in the US (although I am in [name_f]Canada[/name_f]). [name_f]Indian[/name_f] names tend to be phonetically simple or can be shortened to easy nicknames. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you have a list you are considering?

Well there the a few

[name_f]Niam[/name_f]
[name_u]Rohan[/name_u]
[name_u]Neil[/name_u]
[name_m]Sahir[/name_m]
Arav
[name_m]Aditya[/name_m]

[name_m]Arun[/name_m] (like [name_m]Aaron[/name_m])

[name_m]Kiran[/name_m]
[name_u]Rohan[/name_u]
[name_m]Shaan[/name_m] (like [name_m]Shaughn[/name_m])
Yamal

The only ones from the list are [name_u]Deven[/name_u] and [name_u]Rohan[/name_u], all the other names have been used by close friends and family members.

Any other suggestions, doesn’t have to be indian name but exotic english names.

[name_u]Rohan[/name_u] is my favorite [name_f]Indian[/name_f] name, I’ve always said had I been born [name_f]Indian[/name_f] that would be my first sons name . I have also always really liked [name_m]Zaid[/name_m] ( my #2 [name_f]Indian[/name_f] name) and an old friend once showed up somewhere with his nephew and introduced him ( his name being [name_m]Zaid[/name_m]) I was hilariously excited!! Because I mean of all the names right, but anyway those are my suggestions.

[name_f]Niam[/name_f] I also really like from your list, I almost never hear that but it has a modern and exotic flair that would be very good in both country’s.

Thank you all for the great suggestions and links. Yes we do like [name_u]Rohan[/name_u], but maybe overthinking and trying to find another name just for the heck of it. [name_f]Niam[/name_f] is also in our shortlist as it is unique but almost gives you a familiarity when you hear the name. It mean contribution of god.

Others that I liked for the link and the list provided are
