So I’ve been watching this new show called Nashville. There’s a very handsome guy on there named [name]Deacon[/name]. I already have a son named [name]Jesse[/name], and I thought as brothers they sounded great!!
My husband isn’t opposed to it, so I think it’s in the running. I’m not due until [name]November[/name] 8th, but I like to be prepared, and I admit, I have a little bit of a baby name obsession.
So my son’s middle name is [name]Valentino[/name]. Now, what would be a great middle name for [name]Deacon[/name]? I’m kind of at a loss. These big Italian middles really don’t sound as good to me with [name]Deacon[/name]. What do you think? I would also love to hear your thoughts on [name]Deacon[/name]. [name]Jesse[/name] & [name]Deacon[/name], love it!
Having been raised in a Baptist church, I think of “[name]Deacon[/name]” as more of a position than a name, but even so, I like it. I like word names and I think this one looks good with [name]Jesse[/name]–the two almost have a Western vibe. You may also like the similar name [name]Declan[/name]. As for middle names, if you don’t feel that a long Italian middle works with [name]Deacon[/name], it’s perfectly alright to give this son a different style. I don’t think it’s necessary for people to lock themselves into a pattern or theme, and I think it’s nice to give each child a very individual name that is special for THAT child. For some reason the combo [name]Deacon[/name] [name]Wesley[/name] or [name]Deacon[/name] [name]Westley[/name] is coming to mind. Good luck!
I agree with alzora as a Baptist it is a title of someone in the church, but it makes a great name! [name]Jesse[/name] and [name]Deacon[/name] sound great together, handsome and masculine. [name]Deacon[/name] [name]Domenico[/name] sounds like an awesome name, if you both love it go for it!
I actually like the name [name]Deacon[/name] and think it could work great.
I’m not sure about [name]Deacon[/name] [name]Domenico[/name]—with the first it does sound like you’re talking about a [name]Deacon[/name] named [name]Domenico[/name].
What about [name]Luciano[/name], [name]Orsino[/name], or [name]Renzo[/name]?
[name]Deacon[/name] [name]Domenico[/name] is pretty badass, and these have the same slick rat-pack cool. I do like [name]Luciano[/name] due to the awesome nickname, ‘[name]Lucky[/name].’ Great choices, all.
[name]Love[/name] [name]Deacon[/name]! It feels similar to the swoonworthy [name]Declan[/name], but more religious, which appeals to me, personally. I think something like [name]Deacon[/name] [name]Francisco[/name] or [name]Deacon[/name] [name]Nico[/name]/[name]Nicola[/name]/[name]Leonardo[/name] would be lovely, actually. Or [name]Deacon[/name] [name]Dominic[/name]… [name]Deacon[/name] [name]Henry[/name]. I think you have to be careful, because with title names like that, it starts to sound more like an official title rather than an actual name. I do think [name]Deacon[/name] and [name]Jesse[/name] are cute together, though.
