I found a secondhand copy of [name_u]Baby[/name_u] Name [name_m]Wizard[/name_m] recently and I’m a little obsessed. Through it I’ve found a boy name I’ve never considered before: [name_u]Barrett[/name_u]! (I know it’s considered unisex but I’m just feeling it for a boy.)
As I was rolling it around in my head, [name_f]Linnea[/name_f] came to my mind too. What do you think of [name_u]Barrett[/name_u] and [name_f]Linnea[/name_f] as a boy-girl sibset?
I have never heard of [name_u]Barrett[/name_u] being considered a unisex name. It is very masculine to me. It seems like to some, if a name is given to a handful of girls it turns unisex. So if [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] is giving to a handful of girls (this would not surprise me at all), some people would then consider it a unisex name.
I think [name_u]Barrett[/name_u] and [name_f]Linnea[/name_f] make a wonderful sibling set.
BTW, adore the nickname [name_m]Bear[/name_m] for [name_u]Barrett[/name_u].
[name_u]Barrett[/name_u] reminds me of [name_m]Garrett[/name_m], but I actually like it more than the latter. [name_m]Bear[/name_m] and [name_u]Brett[/name_u], [name_u]Bo[/name_u]… All of these could be great nicknames. I don’t know to what extent [name_f]Linnea[/name_f] is the same style as [name_u]Barrett[/name_u], but in now way do I oppose them as sibling names. [name_f]Linnea[/name_f] is very pretty!
