So I couldn’t get Samuel out of my head last night. Between re-reading LOTR with Hubby and reading Dr. Seuss with my little girl (Sam I am and Sam & the firefly) Little Sam is so sweet! I think it might be going to the top of my name list. Before I had it paired as a MN for Orson but I think I might like it in the first name slot. So……
[name_m]Samuel[/name_m] is such a lovely name! [name_u]Strong[/name_u], handsome, charming, and warm. I love the [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] [name_u]Jonah[/name_u] combo
I do prefer [name_m]Orson[/name_m] [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] out of all of these but [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] [name_u]Jonah[/name_u] is wonderful too! I’ve always found [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] quite charming
I’ve also been crushing on [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] lately! I can never seem to find quite the right middle for him, but I like [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] [name_u]Jonah[/name_u] of your options.
I used to really like [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] as a kid, but then it started to feel tired and dated to me. But now it’s growing on me again. It is charming! [name_f]My[/name_f] only personal drawback is that I dislike the nn [name_u]Sam[/name_u]
No wonder your crushing on [name_m]Samuel[/name_m]!
[name_m]Samuel[/name_m] is such a gorgeous name
To me [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] feels peaceful, wholesome and strong. A really gorgeous name! I love the idea of a little [name_u]Sam[/name_u]. [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] is just timeless and very classic also I really like the meaning ‘told by G-d’ to me that meaning feels significant and meaningful as someone who is religious. I love both [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] [name_m]Orson[/name_m] & [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] [name_u]Jonah[/name_u] but prefer the peaceful imagery of [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] [name_u]Jonah[/name_u].
There really is nothing not to like about the name [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] in my opinion. It’s a simple but handsome name with lots of history.
I chose [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] [name_m]Orson[/name_m] because I have a real soft spot for the name [name_m]Orson[/name_m]. I kind of like that [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] means “God has heard” and [name_m]Orson[/name_m] mean “bear” so it’s kind of like “God has heard a bear” which is kind of sweet and could have lots of symbolism if you are into that kind of thing.
