[name]Hi[/name],

First time round we were expecting twins. We had some name combos we liked and then we found out we were expecting 2 boys at 20 weeks. We decided on [name]Nathaniel[/name] [name]James[/name] and [name]Theodore[/name] [name]Matthew[/name] ([name]Nate[/name] and [name]Theo[/name]) but were put off by peoples rude facial expressions etc when we told them.

From about 28 weeks we found the combo [name]Oscar[/name] [name]Matthew[/name] and [name]Fintan[/name] [name]James[/name] ([name]Oz[/name] and [name]Finn[/name]) and these were perfect for each other. Needless to say, these names remained a secret until babies were introduced as their name!
It was also easy to allocate a name to a baby within the womb as twin 2 was a lot smaller than twin 2, and as [name]Fintan[/name] means ‘little fair one’ - he became Finny.

This time round is harder because of the ‘rules’ i have set myself and the need for the name to ‘go with’ the names i already have. Plus we aren’t finding out the sex so there is that added surprise, and need to prepare! I am pretty stuck on my boys name, but not 100% on girls names…its so difficult!

I had the names [name]Zoe[/name] and [name]Innes[/name] picked out since I was a teenager. [name]Zoe[/name] ended up being a preemie and when they came around with the birth certificate, my husband picked the mn [name]Juniper[/name] off the top of his head because we hadn’t even thought about it yet. Now I’m pg again and I’m thinking [name]Penelope[/name] for a girl but I’m not 100% sure. I don’t like [name]Innes[/name] anymore though, or any boy’s names, really, so if it’s a boy I foresee a lot of agonizing about the name.
