Current name crushes - Thisbe, Wildflower, Catherine

[name]Hi[/name],

I did some sorting through name lists yesterday - and these are my newest crushes! Not really of the same style - but are all calling out to me at the moment.

Wildflower - just adore this for a free spirited, feminine middle name

What about [name]Catherine[/name] Wildflower. I tend to go a little more traditional (maybe boring…lol) in my choices, but there is something so intriguing about combining a classic like [name]Catherine[/name] with a “wild” middle name.

I like [name]Catherine[/name] Wildflower, so pretty! I also like Wildrose. I think I just like the word [name]Wild[/name]… haha

[name]Thisbe[/name] is one of my all time favorite name crushes. [name]Thisbe[/name], [name]Sabine[/name] and [name]Isabeau[/name] are names I’ve loved for so long. They’re so elegantly medieval with just a bit of modern spunk. My only problem with [name]Thisbe[/name] is every time I say it out loud it sounds like frisbee with a lisp, I don’t know if I can get past that. If I ever do I’m going to have a child named [name]Thisbe[/name]!

I love, love, love [name]Catherine[/name], [name]Thisbe[/name], and [name]Xanthe[/name]! I actually would love to see [name]Catherine[/name] [name]Thisbe[/name], I think that would be just adorable. I love the nns [name]Cate[/name], [name]Kitty[/name], and [name]Wren[/name], too…

Such lovely names. [name]Thisbe[/name] has been on my list for years and I’ve begun to seriously wonder if Wildflower can stand in the fn spot. You’re probably correct, it’s a better mn.

[name]Love[/name] Wildflower!!

dindlee: [name]Catherine[/name] Wildflower is a great combo! Part medieval beauty/ part out there flower child. I think it would be a gorgeous surprise middle on such a classic first name.

redwoodfrey: Wildrose is very pretty also - and one I had not thought of. I like your description of [name]Thisbe[/name] - medieval with modern spunk. I- unlike my husband - am not reminded of Frizbee. Weird because they are so similar, but I don’t see it as a draw back at all

ashthedreamer: [name]Catherine[/name] [name]Thisbe[/name] is a nice combination too. I had never thought of the nickname [name]Wren[/name] for [name]Catherine[/name]. It’s really good! I do not like [name]Cathy[/name] at all - but think [name]Cate[/name] is nice, [name]Cat[/name] is good and [name]Kitty[/name] is darling!!(reminds me of [name]Jane[/name] [name]Austen[/name])

Thanks others for your comments! [name]Glad[/name] there is so much love for [name]Thisbe[/name] and Wildflower out there.
