[name_u]Everly[/name_u] is my boyfriend’s top choice for a girl name. I’m not sold on it just yet; I need some cute, spunky middles for it. Combos we like but don’t think we’ll use:
[name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_u]Sage[/name_u] (I like this, but I’m afraid it’s too masculine, correct me if I’m wrong)
[name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]
[name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]
And as usual, no P names, please.
Thanks so much! Can’t wait to get your suggestions.
[name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_u]Sage[/name_u] – I think of [name_u]Sage[/name_u] as being more feminine than masculine, though still on that unisex fence. Same with [name_u]Everly[/name_u], so going with something distinctly girl-oriented might be a good idea!
[name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] is the best of your three I think (prefer [name_f]May[/name_f] spelling). Other thoughts:
@aym Thank you for confirming my thoughts on [name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_u]Sage[/name_u]! I absolutely love [name_u]Sage[/name_u], but [name_u]Everly[/name_u] does need a girly middle.
I’ve suggested [name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] to the boyfriend and he thinks it sounds “too country.” I really like [name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] though. [name_f]Violet[/name_f] has been one of my favorite names for years, so it’s definitely an option. [name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] would be an option, but his cousin just had a baby girl named [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and we don’t want to “copy” the middle name.
[name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Willow[/name_f], [name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_u]True[/name_u], [name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Violet[/name_f], and [name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Stella[/name_f] are my favorites! [name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Stella[/name_f] especially because [name_f]Estella[/name_f] is a family name that I can’t really use because my little cousin is named [name_f]Estella[/name_f] [name_f]Adelle[/name_f]. So that would be a sweet way to incorporate family Thank you!
@dmw the surname starts with P and ends in an s sound. So I think it works [name_f]Mae[/name_f] is a family name, but I do think its rather plain with [name_u]Everly[/name_u]. It was basically just a filler name when I had no better ideas haha.
