I have a challenging proposition fot you: My best friend from college, [name]Bryton[/name], told me that he and his wife had QUADRUPLETS! All boys! I was happy for him… until he told me the names, which were all attributes of [name]Bryton[/name] himself.
Pride
Strength
Courage
[name]Honor[/name]
To get really fancy, their “full names” include [name]Bryton[/name]'s. (ie. [name]Bryton[/name]'s Pride, [name]Bryton[/name]'s Courage)
That is horrible. I’m not a fan of the attribute thing, but people do that with their daughter’s a lot. You know, [name]Grace[/name], [name]Hope[/name], [name]Faith[/name], ect. What’s awful is the [name]Bryton[/name]'s [name]Honor[/name] thing. That’s how you legally register a dog’s name! Like my dog is registered as [name]Whitman[/name]'s [name]Rex[/name] [name]Remington[/name]. That’s a horrible thing to do to your kids. What an egotistical asshole.
Wait a second. Their real names on their birth certificate are [name]Bryton[/name]'s Pride, [name]Bryton[/name]'s Courage, [name]Bryton[/name]'s [name]Honor[/name] and [name]Bryton[/name]'s Strength???
I’m pretty sure that those are the worst names I’ve ever heard! I mean, that beats La-a. They are already “[name]Bryton[/name]'s boys”, ya now? Why does that have to be in their names??? Ugh. Seriously. There is nothing cute about those names. I can’t imagine how their mother could agree to that. Awful. I’m not a huge fan of what their names would have been if [name]Bryton[/name] wasn’t included, either, but they could have been somewhat cute I guess. But, ugh. [name]Just[/name]. Beyond awful. Wow.
Awful! Waaaaaaaaay self-centered! The only one of those names I like BY ITSLEF and for a GIRL is [name]Honor[/name], but, seriously? [name]Bryton[/name]'s [name]Honor[/name]? Blech! Someone’s in love with himself…
I’m not going to lie - they sound like dog names. Those quadruplets will go through enough in life without strange names. Bad choices, [name]Bryton[/name]. Really bad.
Technically, [name]Bryton[/name]'s ______ isn’t their actual real name. [name]Bryton[/name] said to me: “When they come out on the football field, the announcer should say, 'Giant’s quarterback… [name]BRYTON[/name]'S PRIDE!!!”
I’m absolutley NOT defending [name]Bryton[/name], though.
Uh… what does his wife think? If I were his wife I would look at him and roll my eyes. Seriously?? Yeah it seems a bit self centered, but the worst part is the names themselves. Pride? Especially for a boy? No offense but these names remind me of pilgrims. Courage could be cute. But then for the full names he wants to put “[name]Bryton[/name]'s” in front of them? As I say once again, what does his wife think? sigh
I thought of “[name]Curt[/name] Snoogybear” for “[name]Bryton[/name]'s Courage” – but then that would have broken the classy initial “B” theme for the quads. Hahaha!
