Cutest NN I have ever heard for Felicity!

Today while I was at church I ran into another mother who was with 2 of her children, [name]Felicity[/name] and [name]Katherine[/name]… (both called by their full names) but a few minutes later the older brother who was with his friends, probably about 10 years old, came to say hi to “Flea” I thought it was adorable!

I have never heard it as an official nn for [name]Felicity[/name] but i have to say i adore it!

WDYT?

I guess it depends on who’s wearing it. I sort of like it and sort of don’t.

Some kids would wear flea really well, and others might see it as offensive, seeing as fleas are a pest.

I guess it’s cute in a way that you call a kid “Bug” or something but once I think about it, I don’t like it. Fleas are icky little things on animals to me. It sounds like you’re calling a kid a pest.

I much prefer [name]Flick[/name], Flicka, Fliss, Lissy, etc.

I know of a little girl named [name]Felicity[/name]. Her mom sometimes calls her Filly. I think that’s cute and much more wearable than Flea.

I have heard it before. Cute on a small child. Not so much on a teen or adult.

[name]Flick[/name], Liccy (as in [name]Roald[/name] Dahl’s widow Liccy Dahl), Flea, Lic, Filly

Well I will never thought about that. It’s sounds totally different.
But it’s okay. Me, myself have a lot of nicknames and some of them are quite far with my real name. Sometimes my friends like to create his/her own nn choice for me. So nn is depends on the people.

I think it’s cute and funny when coming from an older brother.

From an older brother it’s cute; it would drive me crazy if my hubby called our daughter Flea! I do like the name [name]Felicity[/name] though and wish it had a better nickname. I wouldn’t mine using the full name but hubby loves to shorten names.

Flea’s a cute nickname for a kid and I wouldn’t associate it with the bug at all. I also like [name]Flick[/name], Filly, and [name]Lici[/name].

I love [name]Felicity[/name]! I had a friend of a friend who happened to be german and was named [name]Felicity[/name]. She went by [name]FAY[/name]-lee. The german pronunciation of the full name starts with the [name]FAY[/name]-lee sound whereas an american or british pronunciation does not, but I don’t think that matters all that much. Anyways, I always liked the nn.
