[name]Cyrus[/name] is my favorite: rough-and-tumble, rooted, boyish, sturdy. I suppose the names [name]Cyan[/name], [name]Cymbeline[/name], and [name]Cyrano[/name] could get you there, too, but I still prefer [name]Cyrus[/name]. If you don’t mind changing the spelling, then [name]Silas[/name] or [name]Simon[/name] could get you the same-sounding nickname…

[name]Cyrus[/name]. In the UK [name]Cyril[/name] would be a name for a nerdy old man. [name]Cyprus[/name] would onyl be the country and [name]Cyprian[/name] is unheard of.

[name]Cyrus[/name], definitely! I love it. I like [name]Cyprus[/name] and [name]Cyprian[/name], but [name]Cyrus[/name] just feels more usable to me.

Another vote for [name]Cyrus[/name]. I also really like the idea of [name]Simon[/name] or [name]Silas[/name] nn [name]Si[/name], though I don’t know if that appeals to you. If you’re really adventurous go for [name]Cyril[/name] – I’ve been waiting for it to make a comeback!

I love [name]Cyrus[/name], but spelled Sirus. I know that can cause confusion for him later in life, but I like the way it looks a little better, and you still get the same sounding nn.

My fav is [name]Cyril[/name]! All the way! Tis my favorite name! All [name]Cy[/name] names are attractive, the only other [name]Cy[/name] name other than your list I can think of though is [name]Cymbeline[/name].

[name]Cyril[/name] and [name]Cyrus[/name] are a close tie for me. I think it’s time for [name]Cyril[/name] to shake off his crusty old man image and become cool again. The nickname [name]Cy[/name] definitely helps.
