WDYT of the name [name]Cybil[/name]?

I’m not a huge fan of [name]Cybil[/name]. I think the spelling puts it next to [name]Cyril[/name] for me. [name]Sybil[/name] or [name]Sibyl[/name] would be better imo.

Saying that, I think [name]Sybella[/name] / [name]Sibylla[/name] is pretty stylish

I like [name]Cybil[/name].

That being said, I like [name]Sybella[/name] better. I think [name]Nicole[/name] Kidman’s sister named her daughter [name]Sybella[/name].

Also, when I was a teenager I read a book about a girl whose name was Sybilance. I always thought that was kind of cool. The word sybilance/sibilance means when something contains a lot of “ess” sounds.

Reminds me too much of the word ‘civil’…
It’s odd, but if it wasn’t for that I’d be fairly open to [name]Cybil[/name]…

[name]Sybella[/name] is better, but [name]Cybele[/name] is a name I actually love, even though the difference is minute… It’s pronounced si-[name]BELL[/name] and was the mother of all gods in Greek mythology…
