I don’t think it’s just [name]Miley[/name]… it’s also [name]Billy[/name] [name]Ray[/name]. “Achy Breaky Heart” came out when I was a kid and I still have a strong association between [name]Cyrus[/name] and him. Who knows if another [name]Cyrus[/name] decides to become an actor or singer! I like [name]Silas[/name] better anyways 
In just seeing the title “[name]Cyrus[/name]” I didn’t think of [name]Miley[/name] (or the rest of her family). [name]Cyrus[/name] is growing on me as well. I did think of the character in Scandal - [name]Cyrus[/name] [name]Vance[/name], but I don’t see that as a bad thing (plus, it’s not an extremely popular show).
I think [name]Cyrus[/name] [name]Godfrey[/name] sounds nice together.
I love [name]Cyrus[/name]! I don’t think of [name]Miley[/name] (or [name]Billy[/name] [name]Ray[/name]) at all–I think of the Biblical associations (there was a [name]King[/name] [name]Cyrus[/name] in the Old Testament, I believe. In the book of [name]Isaiah[/name] or [name]Jeremiah[/name], possibly? Or [name]Ezekiel[/name]?) and for some reason I think of reeds, although I’m not sure why. I think it’s fabulous, both in general and for you. I love the idea of [name]Godfrey[/name], too, especially knowing the meaning. I think it could even work with [name]Cyrus[/name], but I think it’s great as a MN in general, especially since it has the added value to us Christians.
[name]Billy[/name] [name]Ray[/name] was almost my grandfather’s name. His mother wanted to name him [name]Billy[/name] [name]Ray[/name], but his stepfather got to the birth certificate first and named him [name]John[/name] [name]William[/name]. That could be a fun connection. I didn’t even think about that until just now.
Any more thoughts on [name]Cyrus[/name] or [name]Godfrey[/name]?
Much prefer [name]Cyprus[/name].
[name]Cyrus[/name] makes me think of my nephew! Sure, the [name]Miley[/name] and [name]Billy[/name] [name]Ray[/name] associations are there, but there are so few names nowadays that really have no references or associations! ya know?
I think [name]Cyrus[/name] and [name]Godfrey[/name] are both useable. [name]Cyrus[/name] is a little easier/more natural to me though. [name]Godfrey[/name] would be a really awesome middle name!
I love, love, love [name]Cyrus[/name]! It doesn’t really work with any of my other favourites so it hasn’t quite made my list yet but I think its great. I don’t think of [name]Miley[/name] or her father, I think of the biblical reference.

As a first name, no. It took me a minute to figure out why it should. That name is not tied to them. She’s more well-known as [name]Hannah[/name] [name]Montana[/name] anyhow.
