Dahlia [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f]! This is my number one girl name.

As for the murder association, that is fading every day. It’s been something like 70 years. Not to mention, the murderess was named [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], not [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f]- it was a stupid nickname given to her by men at a nearby club, that sadly stuck. There are plenty of other names associated with VERY negative, arguably far worse things in the past ([name_m]Henry[/name_m], [name_m]Joseph[/name_m], [name_m]Ivan[/name_m], [name_m]Jack[/name_m], [name_f]Darya[/name_f], [name_f]Delphine[/name_f]) I have a friend called [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] and she’s NEVER had any comments about it, apart from me who asked if she has!

Dahlia for sure! It’s so classy and has this cool, mature edge to it.

I love both so it’s a tough choice but I think you just can’t go past the timelessness and simple beauty of [name_f]Rose[/name_f].

Rose is a classic but I love [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] as a first name!
