I have recently fallen in love with [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]. The fact that it can be used to honor Margarets and that it is a flower name are big, big positives for me. However, I feel like it may be a little childish and I don’t know if it will age well… Thoughts? And if I go for a middle name spot, how do you feel about [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]?
I love [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]! I think [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] is positively adorable, and works nicely on all ages. It is such a bright and happy name, and the fact that it can be used to honour other names is an added bonus. [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] is pretty as a first and also as a middle! [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] is such a gorgeous and elegant name, and [name_f]Nora[/name_f] ages beautifully, with bright [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] as a sweet middle. This is super gorgeous!
I love it, but I’m not brave enough to use it for anything but a nickname for [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]. Perfect for middle though. I’m braver in that spot.
I love [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]! I think it can be used on it’s own as a full name and age just fine I can picture a [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] of any age. I also think it makes a great middle- [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] is darling.
I love [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] too. I know an adult [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]. She is very intelligent and kind. I don’t think there is a problem with it not ageing well.
I love it!! And definitely think it can age well. [name_m]Just[/name_m] think of [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_u]Ridley[/name_u], she’s an amazing, strong young woman who wears it beautifully.
My personal style would be only to use [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] and [name_f]Nora[/name_f] as nicknames for more formal names, but I love both, and think that either [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] or [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] would be lovely!
(I’ll admit that I actually prefer the [name_f]Norah[/name_f] spelling…but as a nickname for [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], only [name_f]Nora[/name_f] seemed intuitive, so it’s a [name_f]Nora[/name_f] we have!)
I have to disagree… the only [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] I’ve ever met definitely did not fit her name when she became a teenager. It was too cutesy for her. She was a larger girl with a muscular physique and [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] was just too dainty for her.
I can see the appeal but I like other vintage and flower names much more.
I love [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] for a first or middle. I think it definitely can age well. Teenager can use the nickname Daze if they want. [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] and [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Nora[/name_f] are both beautiful!
I think [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] is a lovely name. [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] is a lovely name. Maybe [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] nn [name_f]Nora[/name_f]?
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f] is my current favorite name so i may be a bit biased but i don’t find it too cutsey or childish at all. I think it will age just fine, names grow with people
But if you put it in the middle I like [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], it flows well
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f] is one of my favourite names, I love her. I think she suits fine as a first name, there’s so much charm there but I don’t consider [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] to be childish. For the record, I think [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] is so sweet.
[name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] is sweet, but I like [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] even more, personally.
I [name_f]ADORE[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], though! I have it as [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] nn [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], on my list, not so much because it feels childish–I know of a little [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], about 5, a [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] who was ahead of me in school (probably mid-30s now), and a [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] who is probably now in her 50s or 60s. [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] works so incredibly well on a woman of any age!–but because I can’t for the life of me find a middle name I like to go with perfect [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]. So [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] nn [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] is a perfect option for me–I still get [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] on a daily basis, but a really gorgeous other name she can fall back on if [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] (heaven forbid!) isn’t for her, and a combo I can maybe fall in love with!
I adore [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], though–she’s one of my most favorite names in the world. There could never be too many Daisys!
I know a [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] in her twenties and I’ve never thought of it as a name that didn’t age well, just maybe a name that retains a hint of childish charm!
[name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] is gorgeous and unexpected. I love it!
I like [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] as a nickname, but not so much as a formal name (however, I’m of the generation that all had formal names on our birth certificates & were called nicknames). The combination [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] [name_f]Marguerite[/name_f] popped into my head; you’d have the option of [name_f]Nora[/name_f] & [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] as nicknames to use in everyday life & if as your daughter gets older would prefer a different nickname or a more formal option they’re built in.
Thanks for all your thoughts, berries! Feeling more at ease with it, especially with all of the positive feedback on [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]!
