Are [name_u]Dallas[/name_u] and [name_u]Dakota[/name_u] truly unisex, or in your opinion, does one sway to one side or the other?
[name_u]Dallas[/name_u] boy, [name_u]Dakota[/name_u] girl.
[name_u]Dallas[/name_u] boy, [name_u]Dakota[/name_u] truly unisex
I wouldn’t be surprised to see [name_u]Dakota[/name_u] on either.
[name_u]Dallas[/name_u] leans more masculine to me, although I remember reading a book with a female [name_u]Dallas[/name_u] once. It didn’t seem entire out of place on her.
I think both are pretty gender neutral, but actually I think [name_u]Dallas[/name_u] leans a little feminine while [name_u]Dakota[/name_u] is truly “in between.” I guess I’ve had a different exposure to these names than some of the previous posters – I’ve only ever known girls named [name_u]Dallas[/name_u], but I’ve known male & female Dakotas about equally.
[name_u]Dallas[/name_u] sways more as a boy name in my opinion while [name_u]Dakota[/name_u] is more unisex.
I would truly be stumped. However if I knew [name_u]Dakota[/name_u] was a boy, then I would assume [name_u]Dallas[/name_u] was as well. Same for a girl and same vice versa.
Both are all girl to me, but then I have only ever met girls with these names and I can’t think of any male celebrity or character with these names off the top of my head (though I am sure they exist)
