I’ve recently been digging the name Dalva (I pronounce [name_m]DOLL[/name_m]-vah, means “valley”) I’ve never heard this on anyone, however, I’ve been to a restaurant with this name.
Any thoughts Nameberrys?
I have a close friend whose mom is a Dalva. I was explained that it refers to the stars, meaning “star of the sunrise” if you translate it’s usage. I was told by Dalva that she was named after a singer, Dalva De Olivera (I think that’s how it’s spelled). It’s relatively common for women in her age group, 50-65 years.
